Still on track to get a top pass rusher in the draft!
-
Huge back to back plays right there.

It's a catch IMO

Dwayne Allen can't stay on the field to save his life, Moncrief's been out for 6 weeks, but Dorsett's the injury prone guy after missing a single start this year. Got it.
This team has had injuries throughout the roster. I never compared Dorsett with Allen, Moncrief or anyone else. Allen is made of glass and is the most overrated player on the Colts roster. I want Dorsett to stay healthy as much as the rest of us. But he has had problems with injuries dating back to high school, college and now the NFL. Just simple facts. It is what it is! Luckily it hasn't been anything serious. He did tear his MCL at Miami.

Too many are either not seeing or refusing to see that Dorsett is still basically a rookie.
He was injured on a freak play and lost all that learning time.
He has good talent and has shown that at times.
Dorsett was injured in high school and in college at Miami. And now it has carried over to the NFL. I think its safe to say he is very injured prone.
I agree he has shown talent. But I dont feel confident that he can play a full season healthy.

So we let Freeman walk. Then cut Irving early, then Moore. We drafted a couple ILB that are not working out ended up cutting Bates. Then we cut guys like Herrera off the PS....
All this to start McNary who is worse then all these guys!
-
All our LBers need to be replaced. And we are a couple CB away from a good secondary.
I will be upset if we draft more then one offensive player and that should be a rb in next years draft!

Allen is a good all around TE who is injury prone. No need to go all Trump on him.
I don't care how you sugar coat it. Doyle may not have the physical attributes as Allen. But he has produced more on the football field. You can blame It on injuries or whatever you want. But I'm taking Doyle over Allen all day until Allen shows up which he hasn't so far. Even when healthy Doyle has better hands and has shown to be the better run blocker this season.

Considering we blew last nights game I still cant see where people can say without a doubt that the Texans are better than we are. Ok they beat us 26-23 in OT in a game that could've went either way, a game where we were up 14 points late even, so they get the W. It was more due to us choking on Defense than them doing anything special. I think we are Mediocre like I basically Posted saying we are in the middle of the pack in the league. All I did was name off roughly half the league that is playing like we are. I think 27 is too low. Now that we are 2-4 I can see being ranked around 20th or so but 27 is still too low IMO.
What bothers me is we played 3 quarters of our best football this season and still came up with an L! This team is horrible especially this defense who are now ranked among the leagues worst. Our record is 2-4 and the only decent team we have played is Denver. Houston is leading the division but they are bad also. We are in last place in the worst division in the league, so 27 is gracious IMO!

Back to Dorsett being a wasted first rd pick. I would fire Grigson and Pagano not only for the way this team is playing but for talent evaluation of the likes of Werner, Dorsett, Smith, Richardson, every ILB they have drafted and picked up in FA besides Freeman who is not here now. These guys have set us back tremendously. I'm all for paying Luck his money. We had to and he deserves it. But if you have a young franchise QB that your paying top money to. Then you had better hit on your early draft picks. We haven't been able to do that besides this years safe pick with Kelly. I'm very disappointed!

I think we are better than any team in our Division, I know we lost to the Jags but it was basically a road game. I think we beat them in Indy. Texans nor the Titans can make a claim to being better, Texans have a 1 game lead but we will see after Sunday? We have the same or a better record as the Jets, Dolphins, Chargers, Chiefs, Bengals, Browns, Giants, Lions, Bears, Bucs, Saints, Panthers, Cards, and 49ers outside of our Division - that is 14 teams I just named no better than us or worse outside of our Division. Overall there are 16 teams total that have the same record as us or worse counting the Jags and Titans, that is half the league.
Correction, Chiefs are 2-2 but you get my point. Basically we are at least as good as half the league is. I am real curious to see what happens Sunday. That will tell me a lot in the direction the team is going.
Just curious how you feel now? I may have ranked them a little too high at 27 but I'm sticking with it. It's fair to say it's pretty close!

Okay, I'm going to look at the bright side of all this. We are playing out this season to get a top draft pick. Hopefully a stud pass rusher early. And a solid cb early in the second rd.
And no way will Grigson and Pagano still be with the Colts organization after this horrible season.
So here's to next season Colts fans!!!!
-
That's game!
-
I wouldn't punt the ball in OT with this Colts defense no matter what. I don't care if it's 4th and 20!
-
i would rank this team around 27th in the league right now. That would have to be a huge improvement to make the playoffs IMO!
-
Cop out! I'm sure he wish he could take that back. Stupid comment from a GM!

The difference between Robinson and Cromartie is that Robinson never gets close enough to the receiver to draw a flag.
LOL

They both are horrible. I know he's getting older but I really wanted Tracy Porter in FA. I would have also liked to have gotten Claiborne out of Dallas he's balling this season for real!

On a brighter note....the Indiana Hoosiers beat Michigan State in football last night!
Chuck needs to get with Kevin Wilson on how you run the football!!!

I love my Colts no matter how much hell I give them. Being a native of Indiana it's just in my blood!
But if I were Andrew Luck with this coaching staff, I would want to get as far away from Indianapolis as I could!
-
Okay jokes aside. We all love our Colts or we wouldn't be here. And I will admit I'm butt hurt for this team to be this bad. But my main concern at this point is Lucks career and health!

I haven't gotten one in over 6 months. I'll take it. Besides I'm just looking out for his health.
He needs rehab if he's still on the stuff
Oh I agree completely... And he must be to extend Pagano and Grigson!

Hopefully irsay gets put away for a long time next time he goes on a binge. Maybe his daughters can do a better job or whoever takes over.
Be careful I got a warning in my inbox from the mods for that same comment!

my lord....what a horrible coached team
Coaching, plus we just have a lot of players with low football IQ's!
This is why I don't blame a GM/Coach (Complaints about the players MERGE)
