This season should be about figuring out who deserves to stay and who needs to go. I like the offensive and defensive playcalling for the most part and believe it would be more successful if we had better talent.
It's time for Ballard to start bringing in some serious talent this offseason going into his year 3. I couldn't find you an offensive skills group with less talent in the league.
Love the team's fight though. Week in and week out.

Really like what I saw from TJ Leaf and Edmond Sumner tonight. Defense was active as always.
Disappointed by Doug McDermott's play, but it is only one game. However, his shot wasn't falling and he was bad defensively.
I'm pretty surprised they only played 10 guys and Aaron Holiday was the tenth guy and played only 5 minutes. No time for Ike, O'Quinn, Alize, etc. I guess they wanted to have a game playing their regular rotation.

Alright that will do it. Not enough talent on the team to begin with let alone dealing with 15 freaking injuries.
-
I hate when people bring up strength and conditioning coaches like injuries wouldn't happen regardless. This is a physical sport. We're just going to keep firing and hiring guys and people will still get injured.

This is not going to be pretty and no one should be surprised.

Looking forward to seeing how TJ fits with the 1's, and how they use McDermott in the system. I also want to see Turner/Sabonis on the court together and how Aaron Holiday does.

In case anybody is watching this game as the Colts play the Patriots, Thad Young and Tyreke Evans won't be playing.
Thad has a foot injury and hasn't practiced in training camp at all. Tyreke Evans sprained an ankle in practice a couple days ago. Was a game time decision.
Both should be ready for opening day. TJ Leaf is in the starting lineup.

Frank Reich just said TY is not playing in the game. I don't see us beating the Pats without him and no running game.
If we lose Thursday I think that will end any hopes of an above .500 season.
There's a little hope for us is if Castonzo can actually play and if Gronk doesn't play after he hurt his ankle today.

Alright so the season comes down to Thursday night in Foxborough in my opinion. I only expected 6-7 wins anyway but our luck has been horrible this year in the 3 losses.
-
Don't blame the call right there. I'd rather play for the win than take a tie. Win or loss. But it didn't work for us there.
-
Congrats to the Lions and RB Kerryon Johnson. I had him as a first round pick and my second favorite running back in the draft.
He just ended a 70-game streak for the Lions by rushing over 100 yards today. First time the Lions have had a 100 yard rusher since 2013.
-
Not to mention we didn't take advantage of the two turnovers the defense created.
-
Good effort. Unlucky penalties on the Eagles touchdown drives and two bad play calls in the red zone on the pass to TY and going play action on 4th down cost us.
-
Feels like this game won't be pretty. The Eagles are just better at every position... which is why they are defending champs.
Carson Wentz looks great so far.

His preferred destinations are 3 awful teams lol Knicks Nets and Clippers. WHY? Can definitely tell this is about money and not winning.
Yep. Money, big market, and a chance to be the alpha dog in a place where he could legitimately lure another big-time free agent. He may end up on the Knicks with Kyrie Irving following him next summer.
Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, and Porzingis would be a good trio.

"The two players I'm most excited about are Domas (Sabonis) and Doug," Collison said. "I think Doug is a guy who can help us shoot the ball. Domas to me by far had the best off-season in terms of body, on the court, total package. He just looks really good."

The Jags are looking scary. Why does Blake Bortles look this good?
-
Darius Leonard is a monster!!! 18 freaking tackles. Plus a sack, forced fumble, and game ending defensive play.

I guess that means Denico Autry will be out on Sunday. And they must favor Hewitt over Swoope due to Hewitt's ability to be a fullback.
-
We have a young inexperienced defense that is not good yet.
There are plenty of teams that give up big leads that have much more experience and chemistry than our defense does. Starting with the Steelers giving up a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter to the Browns today.
-
Just because he lost us one game doesn't mean he deserves to be benched. Stuff happens. We just have to move on.

They put up more of a fight than I thought, but I was definitely not expecting to win this game today anyway. It still sucks though. Just too many mistakes.

Just asking but why?
Just that it'll be the first time they'll be using the new offense, and Luck hasn't played a regular season game in a while so he'll probably be a little shaky to start. I don't think we'll be able to outscore them.
I just don't think the young pass rushers are going to get enough pressure to force Dalton to get rid of the ball quickly, and he's going to have a ton of success in the game especially deep.

Considering all the injuries we have had at the tackle position, the OL coach is not somebody I'm worried about. He just got here.
