  1. I don’t think you are crazy. They are set to lose one of their pillars on offense in Jason Kelce. They are going to 1000% regress at that position. Lane Johnson is potentially ready to retire. Their receiving core is very thin, as obvious by the last several weeks. and as you mention- tougher job, not very stable at all… If he goes there and they regress even further, he could be hard pressed to find another OC job right away… His best opportunity for advancement is with us, even as a non-playcalling coordinator. There have been several coordinators come out of Indy during Ballard’s tenure and into head coaching positions. Shane is going to give credit where it’s due during success. If this offense continues on an upward trajectory, I think Jim Bob is sitting in HC interviews within the next few seasons.
  2. i don’t see it as speculation. There was a report through nfl media that said Sirianni has been calling people for the coordinator position and Jim Bob was one of them. So it’s highly likely he’s been reached out to and either two things have happened- a) he’s flat out rejected it and that has just been kept out of the media or b) he’s entertaining it and possibly has had discussions with Steichen/Ballard about it.
  3. I don’t either. But nbc just posted an article saying “they could hire him.” I don’t know where that even comes from, but it sounds like the media doing the eagles work for them. Maybe he would prefer to go back to Philly in a playcalling role and hence the desire to work out a deal. has a trade ever happened at the coordinator level? lol.
  4. I'm not sure that's how luck works. One team dropped multiple interceptions tonight, the other did not. I can't hardly say that the linebacker that intercepted Love is better at catching the ball than the defensive backs from the Packers that dropped them. In a rainy game, it's a little bit of luck (and bad luck) really.
  5. Lol. I'm not discrediting his confidence on the last drive. He made some big plays. But I believe Mr. McCaffery delivered when they had to score a TD... He delivered several times tonight
  6. Not with 3 minutes left in the game up 4, only to lose by 3. I get it, and i don't generally play the what-if game. But man, it was big in the moment and it ended up being the difference in the game.
  7. Purdy stepped up when it mattered, and defense closed it out. Hard to not blame a missed fieldgoal for me though.
  8. Purdy handled that drive well. We'll see what Love's got in him. 3 timeouts and a minute is plenty of time in the National Football League.
  9. It's interesting... to say the least. They are effectively taking their sweet time and ensuring that this could be their final drive.
  10. Going to be interesting to watch the time management here.
  11. That's putting a lot of trust in Purdy when not necessary with a lot of ball left.
  12. About lost it tucking it away. He's going to throw an INT... He just can't rein it in.
  13. It's 100% on playcalling. It's the only weight to the report. But even then, Sirianni didn't call plays when he was here and still landed the Eagles job. A few solid years of good gameplanning and improvement on offense for the Colts, and Jim Bob will easily be sitting in HC interviews.
  14. Hell, I thought that was Gardner Minshew out there throwing behind the receiver for a minute.
  15. Purdy seems to be really struggling. He's been bailed out by the defenders dropping interceptions on several occasions. Tyrese Haliburton is a point guard and is a franchise all-star that the Pacers are building around. But I understand your point.
  16. 2nd guy is always caught. You would expect your near $30 million captain left tackle to not cost you in between change of possessions.
  17. Caused some confusion with the late shift by the receivers.
  18. At some point they may have to. But an extra point and a fg next drive makes it a two score game if they can get a stop.
  19. Love is just standing in there and putting the ball through windows with Nick Bosa crashing down.
