  1. I think someone will fall to us I don't think PIT will take one they need help on defense so with other needs popping up on teams it will really help us for a WR if we go that direction

Agreed! they always attack defense first and tend to find WRs in the later rounds like M.Wallace so I only see the Rams and Vikings taking WR before us.

  2. We might be able to trade down with a team that has a qb need in the 2nd round in the top 10 like the Bills and that probably will give us their 2nd,3rd, and 4th or something like that. Maybe if a team like the 49ers or Dolphins feel like they have a player that might not fall to them they will most likely be willing to trade up since they have 2 2nd rounders. I expect the 49ers to trade up alot if they're smart since it would be a complete waste to actually use all 17 picks since they will eventually have to cut 3/4 of them to have their 53 man roster.

  3. RT @ProFootballWkly: #Texans, #Chiefs, #Titans get 3rd-round compensatory picks. #Ravens, #49ers, #Lions, #Falcons with 4th-rounders.

    Kevin Fishbain @kfishbain

Dolphins get 5th and 7th round compensatory picks for losing Allen, Henne, Langford (gained Marshall). No other AFC East team got 1.

The 49ers got another 4th. WTH?!?

    Scratch that, we got one.

we should be able to get one for garcon..

  4. Teams with an above average need for a good receiver Buffalo, San Diego, Carolina, St Louis, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota but most of these teas have other more important needs which will force them to take WRs later in the draft. Buffalo needs a QB, SD needs improvement in their line(DL and OL), Carolina needs a DT, Pitt needs pretty much an upgrade in every defensive position, and the Vikings need a DT as well or even a corner but also a receiver. The only team with a desperate need for a receiver are the rams but even then that leaves 2 other good prospects for us and the Vikings..

  5. Yeah also forgot teams like panthers and dolphins but I just seen on espn website is where I seen the list plus lookin at Mel's latest big board he has Patterson as the 1st WR taken to Miami

doubt it, they signed Wallace, Hartline, and Gibson to big concracts. Their biggest need is a CB.

  6. I really like Hunter he's big and has good speed Patterson could take a little longer but not much he is pretty good in the open field

Based on what I've seen, Hunter is the most athletic out of both but the only concern is injuries..If he could stay healthy we got our selves a mini version of AJ Green..

  7. I've been pushing for Ramses Barden for months now if we signed a WR. Don't have much experience, but has a lot of potential IMO. Not to mention, he's huge. We need a different dimension to our WR corps. if were going to get one.

Same here! I was hoping we would get him and he's still a free agent so it could happen!

  8. When Irsay finally tweets that what ever they were working on is obviously dead, do you still want to know what it was or are you inclined to just say the heck with it, it don't really matter? Personally, I don't really care if we aren't getting anybody.

To be honest the only player i wouldn't mind was Cruz but since he's out of the question I rather draft a receiver. Since free agency is changing priorities and the Vikings have their number one receiver, there's a good chance we might be able to get Keenan Allen! I would rather have him for cheap.

  9. I agree, someone mentioned that I earlier, but my thoughts were:

Maybe reworking his contract is one of the things that is taking so much time ... by restructuring it to correspond with the estimated new TV deal cap jump in 2015/2016 we could take on his contract.

Like I said originally I don't really think it is going to happen, but it could be worked out if all parties are willing.

yea it could be true, we'll have to wait and see!

  10. I think a legitimate case can be made for Fitz. I have missed a lot of posts so I do not know if this case has already been made, if it has I guess I am making it again.

Do I think it will happen ...probably not.  But, the elements for it to happen do exist:

    1) The Bruce Arians connection.

    2) Fitz is at the age where his window to win a Superbowl is starting to close and he may be saying this behind closed doors ... The odds are against the Arizona getting all the pieces together to make real runs within time frame.  The Colts are 1-2 years from being contenders; acquiring Fitz makes us legitimate contenders if not this year than definitely next year.

    3) With our 1st round pick (plus whatever other picks we have to give up) and their 1st they can easily both acquire a top QB and a top WR  that is young enough to be in his prime by the time they have their team ready to contend.

    4) It makes sense for us because Fitz gives us Reggie's replacement and as I said earlier makes us legitimate contenders as early as this season.

I do not think the Arizona fans would like this move, but it would be a good move for their franchise in the longterm.

the only thing is that he will be 30 by next season which doesn't benefit us
