I like Keenan Allen a bit better, Speed and hands are there for both of them, but i see that Allen can beat press coverage, he's really agressive going after the ball when it's high or in the middle of the field. he was double cover almost every game you see and still got great numbers, playing with that QB also.
That's not a knock on Hopkins, he's really good too, he will be a solid WR in the league, but a lot of his tape is screens and verticals, Allen's route running is more polish at this moment IMO
-
Luck is just CLUTCH, he had the oportunity to choke all season, didn't do it once.
-
draft is loaded with DL, and after what happened with Mario Williams.. I would really give it a good think to sign a veteran DE
-
STL will take a WR too I believe and maybe even CAR
True, but Patterson is said to be the best WR, 1-10 no one will take him, 11-20, maybe 16 Rams, if he's at 17 Pitt will take him after losing Wallace, then starts Allen market, 22 Rams (if they take Patterson don't think so) and 23 Vikes (and they maybe consider Austin a better weapon and recently signed Jennings, so Austin is a better option for them IMO)
So, Hopkins is gonna be there, Allen is better, but no that far off.

Who will be there at 24 that is worthy of a 1st rd pick
It has to be Keenan Allen or DeAndre Hopkins, they are NFL ready, plug and play, i don't really think there is much difference between this two guys, both are good and can become great.
Allen is a bit taller and is expected to run a little faster, but you know.. marginal diference.
The thing is..at #24 one is probably for the colts, i hope the viks take Austin with one of their picks, so one of this guys is for us and the other will go to the Texans, so we'll see them both play up close.
-
just wait until the draft.. the #24 pick will be a WR.
-
As I said in other posts I like Keenan Allen, if he can run in the 4.4's it would be awesome, Hopkins is solid, but Allen can be a STUD.
-
he's a bad Avery.. why would we want him...
-
Justin Hunter is not ready to plug in and play decents number of snaps in the NFL, He's a lot like Brazil, a play here and there, he needs work but has potencial, he's a 2nd rounder.
We need a #2 receiver, not another "potencial" guy, we have some of those already (Kelley, Palmer, Brazil, Sambrano, Whalen) none of them caught an NFL pass yet(except Brazil), and I see Hopkins and Keenan Allen NFL ready, we can plug'em and be the #2 without a lot of pressure for 2 years and then become our #1 when Reggie decides to step away.
Now that the Vikes got Jennings i see one of these guys be available, Hopkins is solid, but Allen can be great, we have to see him in his pro day what he ran, if he's in the high 4.4's being 6'3, i'll take him.
-
meh, you can get LB in the 3rd even 4th.. Ogletree won't get past the Giants..
-
Indeed.. we should've sign Peyton Hillis and the OL of the chiefs.. OMG.. he ran 100+ yards on us doing nothing out of the ordinary.. that game was god awful, we stole that one...
-
Vikes are a team to watch.. but if you don't have a capable QB, you won't come out of the NFC.
-
We have to go WR, we spent a lot money in FA on the D side of the ball , I think it's almost set, now.. give your franchise QB some weapons so he doesn't have to target Reggie 150 times, if i have to choose, Keenan Allen looks good, but i like Hopkins a little more.
-
draft the honeybadger and put him in FS.. he's got a long way to go in the weight room tho.. lol (3 reps)
-
I saw him.. he played a lot at the end of the year with Justin Smith being out.. he's not Justin Smith.. but he's not scrub..
Best Signing is LaRon IMO, secundary won't be soft when he's there..
-
a guy who play on the outside and it's not a smurf would be nice for Luck. We saw what happened in the playoff game, playing redzone offense with smurfs is difficult, and no running game will make you lose games.
-
he was OK, he helped JJ Watt in a lot of his sacks if you take a look.. making the QB to Step Up where JJ Watt was, he can get there. I don't know about the contract though.. Waldon got good money.. i don't know how much would Barwin want.. if it's somewhat the same deal, i'll take him..
-
not in the 3rd.. maybe in the 4th.. meh..
-
The thing is.. he is good in coverage.. but we have to find a stat of the breakout plays he does, he can cover, but when the WR/TE/RB catches the ball, he's there to hit something.. i really like him.. because it's that kind of Defensive player that you can just close your eyes and hear him play.. no need to see the hits.. you can hear it..
-
the thing is.. at 24, the top guys would be gone, and dept is what this draft have.. the option of trading back that pick is really good.. we can find a solid WR and maybe G, or DE/NT in the 2nd and 3rd.

Now i can't really say anything.. nice move, we get a WR and we can be in the HUNT
GG WP Grigs -
it's OK.. i don't take it seriously.. I'm just still mad because of losing Vasquez and just getting impacient now.. we don't have the picks we had last year.. and of the 11 wins.. we had 3 or 4 "LUCKy" ones.. Hard to repeat
-
hey.. they're getting every SCRUB in the table.. they're getting the fishes just the smaller one that fit in their pockets...

2nd and 3rd rounder have great value this year.. so it will be tough to trade back that #24 for a significant number of picks.. IMO just use it.
