  1. Trade up it's an option if we really want G in the first.. but maybe Grigs can fin someone later..

I don't really love the trade down situation right now.. from 20-30, every team is thinking of doing it, and you may end up not getting an impactful player just to get dept.. we "patched" the needs in FA, why not go BPA..

And as I said.. if 10 teams are willing to trade back.. the cost is going to be low.. trade back 10-15 spots for a 4th-5th?? worth it??

  2. If you take Clay out of that defense they have nothing.. absolutely nothing.. he makes that secundary better forcing throws, yeah, a bit overpayed but the guy it's the best OLB right now.. IMO it's deserved.. the dude plays hard every snap, he played bad against San Fran(Joe Staley and Iupati) , and got shut down but the defense as a whole play like crap.. so.. yeah.. it's a lot of money.. but you have to make your superstars happy i guess..

  3. I like Woods, maybe a little better than Patton, in USC he had some big games against good competition.. both really compare to Reggie, similar speed, maybe reggie was faster, but in that low 4'5, high 4'4, great hands, good routes, no fear going in the middle, remember that Wayne was the #30 pick, Woods should be around that area.. 28-40. He's solid.. but the other WRs in that range too..

  4. I know Keenan Allen & all them. Just don't care for them. Allen is being highly overrated

I couldn't disagree more.. he's being overlook for his speed, which isn't great but not that bad.. he played with a sub par QB, which means balls are not that accurate most of the times.. and was double cover every game.. and still got it done.. I like him the best of this WR class.. he has big hands , and gets open with route running.. if he ends up with a "decent" not really elite but capable QB, he'll have beast numbers..

  5. This was one of those games where Andrew Luck almost single handedly lost it for us.

pressure in his face did it.. and the fact that Reggie was double or triple covered.. we were in the game until the pick 6 by talib.. and we couldn't stop the run..

  6. Watching this clip makes me wonder, if Winston Justice had committed 4 penalties on 1 drive, then what does the referee throw? Flag, hat, shoe, & then the whistle around his neck? haha I don't know. I'm asking.

lol , probably both shoes.. Flag, hat, right shoe, left shoe.. and then.. he just takes his shirt off.. but one thing imma tell you.. if someone can have that many penaltys is probably our man Winston..

  7. A lot of people are gonna be disappointed with Tavon Austin. Big 12 is not known for defense. I promise you he won't be doing in the NFL what he was doing at WV. But what do I know? I'm just an 18 year old

fast don't lie.. i just think health issues are the thing for him.. but in the field.. he's a Percy Harvin / Randall Cobb type of player..

  8. This is not a sprint.. it's a marathon.. how many QB's have impressed in their rookie or few starts.. and then the league adjusts and they cannot do it anymore.

Wilson and RGIII are great, but the team around them were solid before they got there.. Luck had a 2-14 team, and with everyone saying that he would win 2-3 games this year before the season started, on paper, colts were down there among the worst rosters in the NFL.

Let's wait and see, I want to see Wilson, RGIII and Luck next year, to see if they step up and get to the next level, and it's not a one year wonder like many other QB's..

  9. Guys.. seriously.. He didn't have an awesome game against Bama (best OL in college football in some years) and still had 6 tackles, 2 sacks.

    In 2012 he had 85 tackles, 24 tackles-for-loss, 14.5 sacks, 1 interception, 7 forced fumbles, and 2 fumbles recovered.

and this guy it's not about stats either.. he plays the run really good, and he's a perfect fit.. can play both sides.. at #24 we should be grateful if he's there..

  10. Well if he gets past the Steelers at 17 then he'll fall to us because there's no 34 teams between us and them.

yeah but that's also trade down territory for those teams at 22, 23...  but let's hope man.. we will be getting a really good player.. he just need to get stronger, but the skill and instincts are there

  11. I actually like that tape.. just forget about first 2 downs.. he had to set the edge.. which he did good, and in third down he put some pressure and got him once..

Don't really think he'll fall to us.. but if he's there or maybe at pick 21 we should take him..

  12. As I said in another thread, I see Hunter a bit soft, for 2 years he will only be the vertical guy, route running is questionable, as is beating press, also i don't really like his body language on the field, he's awkward coming out of breaks, he torn his ACL like that, and considering our OL right now, he will need more than 3 secs to get open, we don't have that right now.

Woods is solid, good routes, great hands, the thing is his size, speed and work ethic.
