I'm wondering the same thing too. He had a great game vs. Denver but has been getting burned or so since.

Bad games happen, and it pretty much happened today. Outplayed and no execution, and Richardson.... good lord he's just playing bad. I like Brown's role now, however. There needs to be adjustments definitely. This is the worst I've seen this team play all season, it needs to change.
-
Nah. I'm fine with Hilton, Brazill, and Whalen in there.
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
A HUGE hit to the offense..
-
I'm not concerned about it but it's a little excessive with the children amount though.
-
This is what I was believing all along and this article pretty much sums it up for me. Although I hope Fleener can adjust and improve though Allen is a better TE than him.
-
Sweet. Freeman is the heart of the defense right now and I miss having Landry cover the field.Definitely a big help on D.
-
When he fully matures enough into a QB and whenever he feels comfortable doing it, but I feel like he won't do it in the near future.
-
I voted yes and no but personally I feel everyone and their mother is just eating up his words and misconstruing what he said for drama and such. He means no harm, really. The only thing I saw from it is a shot at Bill Polian.
-
Hope he plays on Sunday. I miss his presence on the field though they've been playing alright without him. It'll be a huge help too now that Freeman's down with a concussion, hope he is able to play too but I'd rather him rest until he passes concussion tests.

I'm honestly fine with the spot that Brown has now. He's had a couple of good runs the past few games for first down or more gains because of his speed. I don't think he needs the slot, some screens to him would be fine.

Colts 35
Broncos 34
This feels reminiscent to the Pats-Colts game back in '09 to me, very strange feeling, I know.

All I have in my head is to believe in this team. To me, nothing is impossible if you don't believe in them. Like with the Packers game last year and the games vs. SF and SEA this year. You have to believe and the players have to execute. The Broncos are beatable with their defense, and if Dallas and Jacksonville can exploit it, Indy can. You have to score every drive to beat Peyton's offense too.

Why would you even comment about Polian or Manning ? I wouldn't be taking any shots at all before the Denver game , I would be just be lying low. You don't need to be firing the other team up for a game , when you just keep quiet and let things pass.
The point is, the comments can be taken one way or another through interpretation. That is why you don't make them. I don't get his comments, or especially the timing of them.
I hear a lot of Colt fans saying the last thing they want is all this Manning drama. Unfortunately, your owner is fanning the flames. Manning is as silent as a Charlie McCarthy dummy.
I'm sure the media had dying questions about Manning and/or Polian. Whatever Irsay said here the media went all over his comments, and I think they made what he said worse than what I thought they would be. As you said, people interpret them in a different way, and I interpreted them as shots at Polian. I can't take back Irsay's comments, only he can, and it only makes this game more dramatic than it already is. What I can do is sit back and watch the Colts perform on Sunday.

The TD pass Brady threw to Thompkins, and the TD pass Luck threw to Avery vs. Detroit and more. Also, the TD pass to Wayne vs. the Pats back in 2009/2010.
-
I think people are misconstruing what Irsay said. If anything, the comments, to me, were shots at Polian.

I doubt there will be many boos for Peyton. He practically built Indianapolis into the franchise that it was, he is the first player many think of when they think of the Colts back then. I almost expect a standing ovation from LOS. Peyton has always been my favorite player and will forever have a place in my football heart, I could never boo him for what he did for the Colts, but Luck's the future, and will be rooting for Indy this Sunday night.

I'm patient on T-Rich plus he still has yet to learn the full system and it's predictable to see when they're gonna use him to run. One of these days he'll explode.

I don't know if that sums it up already.

This is the worst game I've seen this team play this season. You can't win every game and you can't change the result of this and that's that. On to the next one and improve.
-
I think it's sort of a wake-up call here. Both sides of the ball looked downright disgusting in this game and the defense just could not get SD off the field, and the receivers weren't catching anything today. It's uncharacteristic but they'll get over the hump. As a firm believer in this team myself, we have as good as a chance to beat Denver on Sunday as anyone else does, you just gotta believe. The game isn't over 'till the clock strikes 0:00.
-
Felt like the receivers were asleep all game. Boy I wish Luck could catch his own passes sometimes but that execution was bad.
-
I'm okay with Pep right now. The offense has looked a bit off in some games but they're getting it done, it's the players that need to make the play for it to work, and today the WR's and Fleener couldn't get anything going with the drops everywhere. I wouldn't panic just yet on Pep, give it a whole season or two for them to get into groove.
-
Uncharacteristic play from both sides of the ball and the defense was looking like that of the old. Outplayed and outcoached. I'm confident they'll play better against Denver, I won't give up on this team.
Is this actually a good thing?

I for one love the way DB is being used in the offense. Though the team needs to improve because the power running isn't working really well for us right now.
