I would strongly support signing him but we probably won't. We would probably have to pay him $8-9 million per year.

Look, I'm not a drafthead or a big college football fan like many others but this is the time of year where I start reading about the top prospects coming out in the draft. O-line is a definite need for us and I've seen both of these guys going to the Colts in various mock drafts. Who do you guys prefer out of the two? From what I've read/heard about Decker is a monster who can throw people around in the running game but can struggle at times in pass pro. I've also heard he's a high character dude with leadership qualities. Conklin from what I've read about is a fundamentally sound player who lacks crazy athleticism. I watched his game tape vs Ohio State and he seemed to do a really solid job of sealing the edge and getting to the second level to spring big plays in the running game. Some experts say he has slow feet that won't match up to the edge rushers in the NFL, but if so could he be an even better guard? Who do you guys prefer out of the two and do you see the Colts potentially selecting one of these guys in the first round? And if so, how do you see us using them along the line?

No, I think it will be NE vs Denver opening night. A rematch of the AFC Championship and the last two SB Champs would be plenty intriguing. They'll save Carolina vs Denver for a little later in the year. I don't think we'll get as many prime time games next year and besides, I would rather open the season at home against a bad team.

He deserved this second ring so much.

I feel like we need to build an O-line through the draft, not trades or free agency.

Our roster might be a little better now than it was back then, but there are still plenty of holes. We need to get better/younger in every position outside of QB and WR/TE.

Peyton Manning is the reason I became a Colts fan 11 years ago. He led so many great Colts teams giving us fans so much to cheer for and so many great memories along the way. He also put this franchise back on the map and is the reason LOS is standing. He's one of the GOAT and he's a good person on and off the field. Why would I not be rooting for him in SB 50? He deserves to go out a champion.

I want the Broncos to win even though I expect Carolina to run away with it.

I think there's a decent chance we will win a SB. I don't know about multiple. We have a long way to go. We need to get a lot better in every area outside of QB and WR.

Arizona over New England has been my SB prediction since mid-season and I'm sticking with it. That said, I'm rooting for Denver.

It's pretty obvious that we need to draft better and get younger. Need to solidify the offensive line and get more talent on every area of the defense.

Outstanding article, Steve. Provides great insight and perspective.

Proud to say that this was my first ever Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium. It was the experience of a lifetime and I feel very fortunate that this happened to be the team's finest performance of the season. Couldn't have been happier that day.

Rapoport just said Grigson is safe. Grigson will be retained.

This will shock the world

Interesting. I guess this means that Pagano probably comes back if the Colts give him an offer he sees as respectable. They're probably negotiating a potential extension. I just feel like if they were going to fire him it would have happened by now.

I'm not seeing Pittsburgh winning at Denver..
Denver's one and done seasons scare me. I'm rooting for the Broncos, but the Steelers are dangerous.

I thought if Pitt won next week they would have to play NE?
They are the sixth seed. If they win they automatically go to Denver.

I'd love to see Peyton win it but I think it'll be Steelers vs Patriots AFCCG. I hope I'm wrong.

I like KC and Pitt next week

Where are the rumors coming from?

If they get rid of Pagano, they should get rid of Grigson too. Grigson is more to blame IMO.

I'm really starting to think that Arizona is going to win the SB
If we don't invest heavily In at least 2 players in FA...

I would rather draft a young center in the 2nd or 3rd round. We have enough 30+ers on our team.
