Ugh… let’s hope he gets his strength back and can stay healthy next year.

I am concerned that he got injured on that play being very young and very athletic when we see other less gifted QBs getting hammered this year without any comparative injuries. I don't know of any injuries he suffered in college.

Yeah huge difference.  It’s like saying well they hit each other in boxing so it’s fine in football.

    That’s not racing.  It’s a different sport.

It is not a sport. It is entertainment and the bottom line is my point people like to see crashes and violence. Look at the MMA following versus Judo which has no following. People liked Mike Tyson because of his knockout power.

Speaking for myself, I never watched football to see players get obliterated like this. And now that we have a better understanding of how dangerous these plays are -- immediately, and in the long term -- I react very differently to them.

I'm not a racing fan, but I've never heard anyone say they watch for the wrecks. Is that really a thing??

Ever hear of demolition derbies? Why are wrecks featured in every news video? Because people like them. There are fewer injuries in auto racing than playing football.

I'm not sure where you live,  but in the US there are plenty of options without additives if you have the money to live that lifestyle.   I find it funny that Ireland finds subway bread as a confection, but it's ok for 18 year Olds to drink.

    What's wrong with 18?

I always found it interesting that in parts of Europe, Subway’s bread is not considered bread because of all the added sugar…

I’m quite jealous of other countries healthy food options… Where I live everything has additives and “extra” things put into food.

    Sugar & sodium everwhere.
