I can't get myself to read pft articles. There is so much hate in the comments section I can't take it.

Sounds like bullcrap

I liked him in both videos, particularly in 2015 highlights. I like that he pursues the play to the end without stopping and seems to figure out quickly when to change course of action (dropping in coverage, trying to bat the ball down, or chasing the guy with the ball)

It's also crazy to blame all of the assistants that we fired for the ills of the team.
Agree

It would have been crazy to fire the coach one year after practically changing all the coaching staff, and put so many families on the move again.
-
I don't understand why so many are upset with Irsay not calling a press conference or saying anything.
Everybody knows that Grigson and Pagano are under contract through 2019, so unless he wanted to fire one of them, or both, he doesn't need to say anything right now. He has enough time between now and scouting combine to give interviews.
Pagano holding a press conference yesterday fulfilled all media obligations.

OK, I don't see any major changes on GM, head coach front at this point.
Probably their thinking\hope is that the offensive line is likely going to improve just based on increasing experience. Luck definitely needs to stop having up and down moments so frequently. On defense they probably expect to improve through the draft.
Looking at it that way it seems logical to continue what they started last year with contracts extension followed by a good draft, and avoid knee jerk reactions.

But you cannot disregard it. It all flows from the same source - the reason he's getting paid so much is the same reason why there are a ton of people calling for his job when he does a poor job - he is in the spotlight and it's part of his job.
Of course as a person we can sympathize with Pagano for losing his job, but he's not hired for the person he is, he's hired to coach a football team and he arguably hasn't done good job at it. It's nothing personal here. I haven't seen anybody calling for Pagano's job because he's a bad person - quite the opposite, I can with clean conscience say Pagano seems like a great person and don't wish anything bad to him, but at the same time I can recognize the job he's done with the team is inadequate and we might be better served by getting another coach.
Please go back to my original question, or exercise, and just substitute your name anywhere you see Pagano or Grigson's name mentioned in connection to his firing on message boards or Twitter

If I was getting 10M+ for my troubles, I'd find a way to live with it.
Please disregard the money aspect for a moment, a job involves more than money, especially if you love what you do.

I wonder how I or any one of you would feel if there were hundreds of people on message boards or Twitter watching or wishing for you to be fired from your job.
-
It's just the regular Monday press conference.
-
If Grigson is fired Pagano could be kept until the new GM finds another coach, similarly to how Jim Caldwell was treated.

Fans of all NFL teams have hopes until the reality of the regular season hits them in the fall.
-
The players have to play hard to win. The chances for most of them to be employed next year are higher if the current coaching staff stays than if they are fired.

Anybody but Patriots, and I live in New England territory

The reason I sometimes watch the Pro Bowl is because I like seeing good NFL players in a cordial and celebratory atmosphere. It's actually better than Academy Awards since, unlike the Hollywood actors, football players don't pat each other self congratulatory on the back as much.

Luck sucks ....period. Dumb as you know what, Stanford education and all. Holds the ball until he's forced to fumble, and has no idea how to get the offense out a potential bad play before snap.
-
The quarterback play is also uneven, hot\cold for periods of time.

One of the most emotionally rewarding games in Indianapolis Colts history.

I'm not optimistic about this guy. If they don't trust him in a limited role, when half of OL is injured, then it's not a good sign.
Didn't Adongo eventually play on special teams a couple of times in his first year? Or was it in the 2nd year?
Anyway, I think of Clark as a bust unless proven otherwise.

Reitz should be next to Castonzo, they play well together in pass protection. Haeg was getting used to playing with Good, now they mess him up.

Can you please post DVOA scores too?

We fans tend to overvalue our team's players obviously.

He has surpassed what Manning has done in his first 5 years.
No, his team did better based on playoff wins in the first 5 years.
Based on individual, QB performance evaluation he is nowhere near Peyton Manning.
