  1. How did Jamaal Charles run for 1550+ and 5.3ypc last year.  They didn't even have a QB at Kansas City.

Those stats are misleading. If you look at his game log, he had huge games (200+ yards) against very poor defenses (Indy, Cle, NO) but he also had really bad games. He wasn't very consistent. A lot like Chris Johnson.

  2. WE obcessed with being a power running team...and that wont win...I'm afraid..

Richardson is no better than Bradshaw

Richardson is definitely better than Bradshaw. He's bigger, faster, and more physical. Think about it Mark, if both Bradshaw and Richardson were free agents, all things even, who do you think GMs would go after? It's a no brainer.

  3. Just 2 things... The Welker thing happened before the Hernandez incident. I'm sure if it was flip-flopped, Welker would be a Patriot right now. Also, the Pats already reached out to Lloyd and he declined.

I think once Gronk and Amendola come back. The offense will be fine. There's just a lot of pressure on the rookies right now. Ochocinco was never able to pick up the offense so I imagine it's pretty difficult for the young guys.

  4. Not sure what Marrone was trying to do on that late drive in the 4th. The other 31 coaches would be trying to milk the clock but he just handed the ball back to Brady.

Bills front 7 looks strong. EJ looked good for a rookie.

Amendola is the real deal. He was making some insane circus catches out there with a hurt groin. I'm extremely happy with the Patriots D. This team looks a lot more balanced.

  5. 1: Marino

    2: Unitas

    3: Graham

    4: Elway

Bit of a gap after these four. They're pretty well untouchable. 5-10 kinda shuffle around a bit.

    5: Staubach

    6: Fouts

    7: P. Manning

    8: Montana

    9: Brady

10: RODGAHS - Although he's better right NOW than Brady and P. Manning...and, well, everyone else. If anyone has the potential to break my top 4 it's him.

Right there: Drew Brees...but he's beginning to taper off so I can't see him squeezing in here. Steve Young deserves honorable mention as well.

The likes of the modern guys (PM, TB, Rodgahs) have the ruleset to overcome. The league babies QB's and it's very pass friendly, so it's difficult to list any of them in the top 5. All of the modern QBs tend to wear skirts, and some tend to "indulge" more than others if someone gets within sniffing distance. It's really hard to look past those pathetic displays modern QBs put on.

    Pass the doobie

  6. What is your obsession with trying to get patriot love on a colts board? Are you that insecure that you need every fan base to fawn over your team

This is the NFL general section, FYI there are other long time pats fans on here. Don't like it? Don't post/read the thread.

  7. Tom Brady needs:

4 TDs to tie Joe Montana for most all time, 5 to break

226 yards to tie Brett Favre for most all time, 227 to break

A win for most SB appearances in NFL history by a QB (6)

2 TD passes in the SB (if he advances) to tie Montana for most all time, 3 to break

    Already holds:

    Most wins

    Most attempts (playoffs)

    Most attempts (SB)

    Most completions (playoffs)

    Most completions (SB)

    Most yards (SB)

    Most game winning drives

    Coming up next year:

Most AFCCG appearances(8) (currently tied with Montana @ 7)

    Most SB wins (5)
