  1. haha.. lmao this is just hilarious. How did he fare?? Better than Brady did. I can just here Gesile.. 'my husband cant throw and catch the ball at the same time!!' haha

On another funny note.. Manning's stats and wins are far superior to Bradys when he was out for a year and came back. Yet Mannings on a whole new team.

And his stats were worse than Brady before their respective injuries. See how that's completely irrelevant? Keep grasping at straws though, you'll eventually find something.

  2. Gee heavens no.. nothings ever Bradys fault.. lmao he played like crap and so did the rest of the team. Get over it.

Played like crap? He lead his team to four consecutive scoring drives in the second half. The first pick, Welker gave up halfway in the route complaining to the ref about PI. During the second pick, Hernandez didn't extend his arms for the pass because he was about to be drilled and it bounced off him. How are those Brady's fault?

Can you remind me how Manning fared in those marvelous comebacks against NE, Atl, and Hou? At least Brady was able to bring his team back.

  3. ROFL at QBR and QB rating.

Name one great defense that Peyton has faced this year.

    Think about that.

You can't count the Ravens, as they were missing FOUR of their top 5 defensive players, and Suggs played injured.

Broncos lost to three great teams:

    Falcons.

    Patriots.

    Texans.

What other great teams have they BEATEN?

    Oakland? Nope.

    Chargers? Nope.

    Saints? Certainly not this year.

Bengals? They're above average, but certainly not great.

    KC? Please.

    Tampa Bay? Nope.

Baltimore? Flacco had a 0.4 QBR in that game.

    Read that again: 0.4.

Peyton as MVP is almost laughable when you look at which teams the Broncos beat.

    Brady's losses were to:

#1 defense (49ers). He scored more points on that team than any other team, and by a far margin.

#2 defense (Seahawks). Lost in Seattle, thanks to the defense giving up big pass TDs.

#11 defense (Arizona) when Arizona was playing well at the beginning of the year.

#13 defense Baltimore, when Baltimore was only missing Suggs, and the "game winning kick" wasn't good per NFL rules.

    Excellent post

and the Broncos fans are always pouting  "but...but..Peyton didn't have chemistry yet!!"

Right, must've gone missing against the Steelers and Raiders. His play against the Niners basically cemented the MVP. Both picks weren't even his fault.

  4. If I was a patriots fan I wouldn't be bragging when you went to 2 SB with the Giants and lost them both. :funny:

Not only would I rather have my team in the SB and lose instead of missing out on it, at least our QB doesn't cost the team the SB (see 2009).

  5. Have to shake my head at the comments about Denver...

The same people who at the beginning of the season, and hoping Denver would lose a bunch, were stating how they had a "tough" schedule.   Now that they are considered one of the best teams out there,  they suddenly  "had the easiest route" to the playoffs.

    Give me a Break.........

Because that's what the numbers say... After their last loss, they had the easiest remaining schedule. Hell they still do: http://www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/afcsosrg.html

  6. I don't know that any team is head and shoulders above the rest this season.  As things have progressed just about every team has looked beatable at times.

The hot teams as the season approaches its conclusion seem to be the Patriots, the Broncos, the Falcons, and (shockingly) the Redskins.  Only the first two teams particularly scare me... but still not to the point where they'd be heavy favorites over most of their prospective competition.

I agree, I don't think the Patriots are elite either. It was only a few weeks ago they almost lost to the Dolphins. I do think the Texans and Pats are definitely a lot better than the rest. The Broncos record is misleading because they have the weakest stretch to the playoff and the Ravens have injuries all across the board.

Redskins are looking like they will clinch the division! Must be a big Steeler fan right now huh?

  7. meh, don't think anybody would put money on the texans in a rematch....that game was way early. i thnk even texans fans would admit they arent playing that well lately.

Broncos/Texans rematch? Of course I would put money on the Texans. So would Vegas.

  8. If you're a Colts fan, you want RG3 to play. If Luck wins ROTY, skins fans will be saying it's because RG3 missed a game or else he would have won. Not saying I agree but I can see this happening. Other way around as well, if Luck missed a game, you might see Colts fans saying the same thing.
