  1. Harrison is better at run blocking thats for sure. For being an undrafted free agent and only his second start the kid is playing big time.

Agreed. He run blocks better, and if this is who they are going to go with, then by all means play him. He'll get better and with Mewhort returning the line will have some young guys to complement the vets. There must be a reason that Shipley and Holmes aren't starting...

  2. Prime Time. That's what it all boils down to. Another night of the week that can showcase the NFL. Another night of prime time coverage that teams get "rewarded" with IF the NFL thinks they'll make em look good. NFL teams' weeks are fairly ritualized... practice days, film studies, walkthroughs, travel days, etc... and  most importantly healing time. I don't know about y'all but I have to get up early on Friday and would rather only have 2 days a week to be tired not 3... (Monday and Tues mornings)

  3. 3 day turnaround. Game during the workweek. Injury risk. I'm sure there are more good reasons that I am forgetting to dump these games. Y'all can refine the rules to where players and coaches need a P.H.D. to keep up but can't figure out these games aren't good for the PEOPLE. Players have unhealed bumps and bruises, and get injured when they play before fully recovering...

NFL, wake up. Sunday afternoon and evening. Sunday night. Monday night tradition. Thats it.

  4. Let's face it, we sure didn't need Landry to get suspended right now... really anytime. We could look at it a different way. Reguardless of what's thought of him, he undoubtedly brings the "thumper" quality to games and opposing wideouts know this when coming over the middle. Sitting out could bring some focus and perspective. Midseason healing of the little dings to be stronger for the rest of the season...?? Experience for Brown and/or Colt Anderson? There's many ways to look at it but hopefully he rises to the occasion upon his return.

  5. I have always liked Bradshaw, and considered him our best back by far since he has been here -- but with that being said, I do think it's wise to keep both guys fresh and able to hit the holes. They seem to feed off each other and unselfishly simply do whatever they are called upon to do.  Bradshaw's play is teaching Richardson week by week (in my opinion) and having them both is a great luxury to have! It makes it tough for the opposing teams to key on one particular style...?? Just some thoughts... Can still remember how hard he ran with the G men when alternating with Jacobs I think.
