Brown has played well, and he is in the right POSITION to make plays... Pleasantly surprised. Curious to see if Landry comes back with a new perspective...?
-
Harrison is better at run blocking thats for sure. For being an undrafted free agent and only his second start the kid is playing big time.
Agreed. He run blocks better, and if this is who they are going to go with, then by all means play him. He'll get better and with Mewhort returning the line will have some young guys to complement the vets. There must be a reason that Shipley and Holmes aren't starting...

After hearing everyone sing the praises of Brown, missing games, and being healthy, anyone think that Landry won't be out to prove himself after the layoff? I like Brown's play lately but competition is a good thing.

Prime Time. That's what it all boils down to. Another night of the week that can showcase the NFL. Another night of prime time coverage that teams get "rewarded" with IF the NFL thinks they'll make em look good. NFL teams' weeks are fairly ritualized... practice days, film studies, walkthroughs, travel days, etc... and most importantly healing time. I don't know about y'all but I have to get up early on Friday and would rather only have 2 days a week to be tired not 3... (Monday and Tues mornings)

3 day turnaround. Game during the workweek. Injury risk. I'm sure there are more good reasons that I am forgetting to dump these games. Y'all can refine the rules to where players and coaches need a P.H.D. to keep up but can't figure out these games aren't good for the PEOPLE. Players have unhealed bumps and bruises, and get injured when they play before fully recovering...
NFL, wake up. Sunday afternoon and evening. Sunday night. Monday night tradition. Thats it.

Damn proud of our defensive play today, especially the secondary. Don't miss Landry a bit.

Luck...c'mon

Allen is a beast..soft hands and bullish blocking
-
Reg' savin the drive again

Brown is playin'!! Great job "D"

Werner and Brown.

Landry does have second most tackles on the team...
just saying...
That is correct, and he knows how to get into the opposing wideouts' heads. Not a bad run stuffer either.

Let's face it, we sure didn't need Landry to get suspended right now... really anytime. We could look at it a different way. Reguardless of what's thought of him, he undoubtedly brings the "thumper" quality to games and opposing wideouts know this when coming over the middle. Sitting out could bring some focus and perspective. Midseason healing of the little dings to be stronger for the rest of the season...?? Experience for Brown and/or Colt Anderson? There's many ways to look at it but hopefully he rises to the occasion upon his return.

Wow, the O is really clicking
-
Richardson is showing his potentail more and more
-
Easier on the heart too... It should help us get our ground game rolling and really beat up their secondary
-
Mewhort blowing the block for Trent.
Yeah, I think that he's going to school today... hopefully he learns and improves as the game goes on
-
Wow O-Line! Gotta clean up the play fellas! Surely miss Hugh Thornton today... I think that it messed up our cohesion.

There ya go T-Rich! Bulldoze your way in!

It's always a bit nerve racking during the early part of a game when playing an unknown quantity at QB... But heck this is in Lucas Oil! Let's get Reggie and T.Y. going today!
-
That two headed monster is about to run over the Titans... Let's go fellas!!

I have always liked Bradshaw, and considered him our best back by far since he has been here -- but with that being said, I do think it's wise to keep both guys fresh and able to hit the holes. They seem to feed off each other and unselfishly simply do whatever they are called upon to do. Bradshaw's play is teaching Richardson week by week (in my opinion) and having them both is a great luxury to have! It makes it tough for the opposing teams to key on one particular style...?? Just some thoughts... Can still remember how hard he ran with the G men when alternating with Jacobs I think.

D'Quell Jackson. McNary has been pretty good, and seems to be improving but Jackson is supposed to be good already. Like to see him put forth the effort that Freeman, McNary, and Studebaker do and lead by example.

OK fellas, time to put it on these overated Bengals... Hopefully they don't start doing the "twist" if we get too far ahead.
