We need to win. We have a tendency to slip up occasionally. I bet we lose to Miami.

That might have some truth, but only to out of division teams, not AFC South opponents. After the Texans, 2 of the 3 games left are AFC South opponents.
Just winning the Texans game swings so many things the Colts way for getting in to the playoffs.
True. I predict we sweep division and lose to the Fins.
The only game I care about for the rest of the season is the Houston game. We can't let them beat us in our house for the first time. Playoffs don't matter to me too much. We just don't have the team to make a deep run this year.

If we win out, it doesn't matter what happens between NE and Houston.
My point was that the NE Texans game isn't really that important to us. We just have to beat them (and not stumble against teams we should beat)
We have a habit of doing just that.

Maybe he can drum up a win at Pitt...

I was hoping they would bring someone like this in. You never know, all he has to do is the remainder of the season and playoffs.
-
If 3-4 weeks is typically bottom end, it's possible he misses the max amount and/or more if there are any setbacks. I guess we'll find out over time, but I think my position is, keep him out until he is 100%. If that means throwing in the towel for the season, so be it.
The only game we MUST in is the Texans game...to keep the "never won in Indy" train rolling.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Does it look like this?
More like this:

Pagano sounds like Owen Wilson and Sean Connery's offspring.

Night and day.
Sigh.

I don't feel too confident that could happen if Grigson is GM but that's for a whole other thread...
Agreed. While his body of work is larger, I believe the Manning years were successful (you know what I mean) because Polian hit on about every first round pick.
With Luck the only hit (and a no-brainer at #1) we have whiffed in the first round. The Dorsett pick may look good in 2-3 years, but we were in win-it-all-now mode.
-
And that ended with an 11th pick producing Dwight Freeney.
Can we get an actual dominant player with our 1st round pick this time? Remains to be seen.

At -10, I take the Pats.

Colts have showed nothing over the past 3 years against these guys. I love the Colts but I just don't see it being close.
49 - 10 Pats

^^^^^ Exactly what i was gonna say!!! Even if we have to use 6 O-Linemen...Run it down their freakin' throats!!
When they bring 8 men into the box to finally stop the Run we'll Play-Action pass.
Yes, we will have many creative ways to go 3 and out Sunday night.

...eat my hat.

I heard Luck's body was severed into two halves and Matt is laid up in the hospital in Houston right now!
All is lost!

I agree, we should spread it around. But do we really need to define ourselves as a run or pass team? That seems silly. Go with what works for the situation.
Too much talking from Allen.

Wonderful if our two best defenders are hurt.
Let's hope precautionary!!
Colts' chance of making playoffs: about 3,300-to-1
