the one time chapman made a big play, the refs blew it and said the runner wasnt touched

    Is that the Cincy game?

If so, I'm not sure I have never been more * at a play in my life. Especially since the refs REVIEWED THE PLAY and STILL got in wrong. :flaming: Believe the ref was Jeff Triplette, of course.

All the emotions from that game are coming back to me. I can't even think about it, lol.

exactly...otherwise, you'd fire them BOTH at the same time

    Not true.

Remember, not too long ago Colts fired Polian and then left Caldwell out to dry for two weeks.

Likely, the incoming GM will have say whether Pagano stays or goes... ala Caldwell/Grigson in 2012.

How long before we hear "the Colts and Chuck Pagano have mutually agreed to part ways."

    Hopefully today.

    Just now, Stephen said:

There was one rumor by brad wells that said Gruden wanted 10 million a year but  who knows how reliable that is.

Brad Wells is NOT reliable. Never has been, never will be. He even admitted a few months ago he has no sources in Indy anymore. He now lives in Canada. He just piggy backed off of other local media people and rumors and ran with it.

  4. I have gone to every Colts game since 2005 and yesterday's game was probably the worst when it comes to fan participation. The stadium was still full like normal - but the fans had NO energy. I mean, even in 2011 the fans were more into the game. No energy from the fans yesterday. Irsay has to see this. Pagano/Grigson has sucked the life out of the fans with this mess the franchise has turned into.

  5. Robert Mathis

    Trent Cole

    Erik Walden

    Akeem Ayers

    Darius Butler

    Mike Adams

    Jack Doyle

    Jordan Todman

    Robert Turbin

    Chris Carter

    Hugh Thornton

    Darryl Morris

    Duke Williams

Who do you guys put as priorities to re-sign?

I'd go with Butler, Doyle, Turbin and if Adams wants to play another year bring him back.

Also, I'd bring Walden back if he's not asking too much after his "breakout" year.

Not according to yahoo playoff generator.

    That is interesting!

So I was using the ESPN playoff generator and it has Miami being the 2nd wild card if that scenario happened. However, I went to the Yahoo generator and did the above scenario and it had Indianapolis as the 2nd wild card. I made sure both the ESPN and Yahoo had the exact same teams winning for the last 2 weeks and it still has different results. Colts for the Yahoo version and Dolphins for the ESPN version...

So... IDK! Maybe we can still get a wild card if that happens? Lol. Don't know which one is correct.

Can the Colts also get in if they win out and the Ravens and Dolphins lose out?

I agree that the Titans/Jags game isn't happening like we wish. The Titans are to hungry. They're beatable but you can forget them blowing winnable games like certain other teams.

Sadly everything else could happen, or here's what might happen - the Colts get help, beat the Raiders then lose to the Jags once the pressure is off.

No, Colts can not get a wild card. It's either win the division or don't get in. It'll probably be the latter.

If Houston, Tenn, Colts, Miami, Buffalo all go 9-7, Colts would get 2nd wild card (Houston gets division), but that is assuming Baltimore and Denver go 8-8. If Baltimore and Denver are also 9-7 Balt gets in. If Balt is 8-8 and Denver is 9-7, Denver gets in.

Nope, tie breaker goes to Miami. Colts wouldn't get in.

  9. ...For the Colts to make the playoffs.

    1. Colts HAVE to win out. @ Oakland and vs. Jacksonville.

    2. Tennessee MUST lose week 16 (@ Jacksonville), and then WIN vs. Houston in week 17.

    3. Texans MUST lose out. vs. Cincy and @ Tennessee

    Final standings would be:

    -Colts 9-7

    -Titans 9-7

    -Texans 8-8

With the Colts holding the tie breaker over the Titans (beat them twice this season).

So... basically very slim odds Colts make it. That Titans @ Chiefs game was just as important for the Colts as the Colts game today. Thanks Chiefs.
