Achilles injuries suck....I am only 28 and I strained mine about two years ago and it still hurts off and on whenever I go to make a quick move playing basketball or something. It is just like it never goes away. I've heard the best way to heal it is true rest, but it would require a long time....Hope yours is doing better.

It all depends....based on the differing opinions of the timeline. If Schefter is correct then this hurts...It will be hard to go four games without our CB1. We can manage, but I am betting the secondary will be picked on. If however Will Carrol is correct and it is two to four weeks from the injury...then meh no big deal. That would have him miss essentially one meaningful game. He would be out for the final two preseason games, the off week, and the Lions game. Lets hope Carrol is correct!

The idea is simple it puts you up three, field goal only ties. As for preseason, and correct me if I am wrong ( I definitely could be), but I was thinking in preseason there is no overtime. The game would just end in a tie.

You are probably right, hadn't really thought about the Robinson signing. Money was similar so that makes sense.

Ben Heenan has been cut to sign two WRs. Josh Boyce and Brian Tyms...both most recently with the Patriots.
niether wide out has had much of a career to say the least. I am a little disappointed that Heenan was cut. I had hopes he'd atleast be a rotational lineman for us.

What I meant by Robinson outplaying Vontae meant we would have two darn good corners if he did, not down playing Vontae!

B/R rankings are absolutely terrible. You would have to pretty "silly" we will say to think that Vontae is the 284th best player in the league and Luck is number 307....On top of that I sure hope that Robinson outplays Vontae but its pretty "silly" to think he was better than Vontae last year. I can agree where T.Y and Patty Mac are, but Vontae and Luck (even after last year) are both top 50 players IMO. Another things I see is Trent Cole 150 players ahead of Mathis.. really??? I would not put much stock in B/R rankings....B/R does a good job of getting a wide range of articles and news out through there App but they do not have the most knowledge......again IMO, sorry guys, rant over

All the physical tools are there...it's mental corrections in coverage that need work....he has potential to be a Bob Sanders type...or if he can't put it together he could be a Taylor Mays type...freak but can't put it all together...from what I saw though he is trending it the right direction. Maybe he won't be Bob, but hopefully close!
