I read that the Jets have switch their focus now to Darelle Revis... what if Davis' market evaporates and he comes back. That would be rather amusing, but I'm sure the organization wouldn't hold it against him too much.

Considering the amount of FA D-Lineman they've already brought in, I doubt they are going to sign many more. We have RJF, Matthews, Redding,Aubrayo,etc..And then we have the 2 guys we drafted in Chapman and Hughes. They need to do something about the run defense though. If they want to start at NT that's fine, but if they get another FA one, this one better be worth the money.
Franklin is a Free Agent.

Relax it's a great deal. Look at the Guaranteed number $11mil. So $5.5m owed in 2014 and 2015 and that's it..it's basically a 2yr Deal ppl!

I was at the game yesterday as well. It was night and day from the game I went to 3 years ago in Houston. Everyone was very excited to root on their team. There was a bit of razzing, but I have it right back and they took it well. The people when I went to Houston were mean and ugly and tried to fight me as 16 year old kid. Thanks SF for a great game! Sorry it didn't work out they way y'all planned.

No problem! There is so much to like around here these past 24 hours! Im still speechless. I was happy enough that I actually paused GTA5 to watch NFL Network when it was announced.
And to be perfectly honest, I think this game will be a battle, 49ers are nicked up but they have great depth. The colts should be riding this good news. Thats what happened when we beat Green Bay... it was all emotion

Diggs played at safety in the Alamo Bowl, and it looks like Texas is going to play him there for the upcoming season. He was great there during the bowl game, looked like a good fit to take over for Vaccaro.

Im going with my mom who is a 49er faithful, and had season tickets at candlestick when she was a little girl 30 years ago. We opted for the SF game just because this is the last season that the 49ers will be playing at candlestick and she wants to see it one last time before it gets demolished so I guess its all sentimental for her, and I get to see an awesome Colts game in the process.

i understand the debate between Mathis (Our premier pass rush), Walden (Steady Run Stop who may not be worth the money paid, but we're not really sure yet), and Werner (1st round stud who appears to be good at it all). However I'm really confused as to just where Sidbury comes into play now that we brought a young stud into the fold...

Right, I really doubt any of our signed players will be cut before the OTAs or minis. 12 of those UDFAs won't be invited back.
This is what I was trying to convey, I guess I wasnt articulate enough to express it though.

So Technically our roster isn't at 102. We got alot of UDFA's that we just invited to the rookie minicamp here at the beginning of May. From there we only take 90 into Training camp.

I would eat my shoe if there wasn't at least one more signing. With the release of Satele we broadcasted we're looking for a Center. This coupled with grigson's previous comments about rather starting a rookie DB over a rookie O-lineman leads me to believe that we're definitely still hunting for a veteran Center.
