  1. 1. AFCCG (now that I know how it ends)

    2. SB (I'm surrounded by Bears fans... great night)

    3. 2008 game vs. Houston (Sage Rosenfels "helicopter play") it was an early season must win to keep from going 1-3... the whole team stepped up in the fourth to get an amazing win

H.M.-The heartbreaking early playoff loss to the Steelers in 2005... I had such a huge meltdown after this game that it prepared me for future disappointments like... 2011. Fumbling legends, best and worst of #18, and drunken kickers F'ing up the whole effort... I can laugh about it now... hu ho hai... sort of

  2. No doubt about it... Luck is pure beast mode... one small criticism, and mind you, I didn't start following his career until I started thinking the Colts might draft him.... but does anyone else think that his deep throws, although deadly accurate, seem to float a bit. After his pro day I became convinced that he has a big enough arm, but it seems like his deep balls spend a little too much time in the air. I'd love to see some video posted of him throwing some 30-40 yd. lazers between 2 defenders.

  3. we really do not need -need a TE at 34 unless Fleener is there.NEED CB need NT

agreed. with so many holes, gotta go BPA, though. We shouldn't even reach for a NT or CB, IMHO. We need to take the talent where we can get it. Even if we do not get a franchise NT in this draft, we will piece something together and address it next season, when our needs are more defined. I think Fleener will be a productive NFL TE and might be the BPA at #34, but he isn't worth trading up for at all. We won't fill all of our needs with this draft alone, but we need all 10 picks.

  4. I would give Bob Sanders another chance if he wanted it...

we have some developmental time here..

    ..how old is he

Sanders is 31, but he might as well be 81 because we might get one good tackle out of him before he's on IR. He and Hayden are hurt too much to waste any cap space on.

  5. Just read that Alshon Jeffery had a solid, but not spectacular pro day. Mayock said he's not worth a 1st round pick, so maybe he's our 2nd.

Not sold on Jeffery... I certainly see the potential, but he might be a loafer... i don't really want lazy guys in such a young and impressionable locker room. Jeffery might end up being a stud, but the pick doesn't seem very safe to me with so many roster holes.

  6. Who does everyone think will be our biggest rivals in the Luck era? I guess the schedule will do alot to dictate that, but I can see the hatred for NE and SD crossing over, but how long will it realistically be before we can expect to beat the Pats? I wonder if we will play Denver in 2013. I can see a young QB rivalry developing between Luck and Dalton or even an NFC QB like Newton or RGIII. It goes without saying that TN, JAX, and HOU will be rivals.

  7. As much as I love Dallas, I think other NFL teams are wondering how much of his success he owes to #18. Add that to his health issues and drops last season and he becomes one of those late free agency stop gaps for a team that needs a body at TE. I think he can be productive somewhere, but his best days are behind him. I doubt the Colts resign him even if they have their eye on Fleener (keep dreaming) He doesn't block well enough to fit our new philosophy IMO. We will try to get a hands TE, but I think whoever it is will have to have better blocking poential than #44.

I think Addai will land somewhere, not as a featured back, but he will contribute. It has been hard for Indy RBs for years. If he gets behind a good line, blocking for a decent QB, he will provide alot of value for what he'll command in salary.

  8. I think he will be the featured back... 220 attempts 4.2 ypc 924yds 9 tds and a fairly productive year from Carter, too. Colts will look surprisingly good on offense in 2012, I think... especially considering how low expectations are.

  9. DB will show improvement once the O Line can make some holes... all too often you'd see him run full steam into the back of a lineman in the past. He has some burst. My guess is he will be the starter for 2012 and will have good enough numbers to keep us from drafting a RB in higher rounds in 2013.
