Can you imagine having Pittman and Evans as our receivers? That would be awesome. Evans appears to be available. Not tagged, yet. I'm thinking he would cost minimum 20 mil. I don't know if Ballard would go that route.

I'm giddy thinking of getting this kid. Damn he's really good. A true playmaker. He would make the O so much better.

The same Chase that hasn't spent more than one season on any team?
Same one.

Gave up on him way too quick. One of the best in the league, this year. I can't say I've been overwhelmed with Matt Gay. He definitely changed a few games for us this season.

I agree every team needs a guy like him and I'd like to keep him for the right price. I hope we don't go above $20m per year, but I think Ballard will give him near Tag level money.
I think Ballard will have to pay him large. These type of receivers are very hard to come by.

I started this thread weeks ago and i didn't think it would last. If Reggie Wayne has his back he will be fine.

My criticism was quite harsh. This woman called an ambulance. Was she taken to hospital ? I just think this looks very bad for him. Innocent until proven guilty. I was being close minded. For that I'm wrong.

Ogletree career over. He will be working at Uber eats in a few weeks.

Did anyone know pierce is the fastest of our receivers. 4.41. 40yd.

Where did this guy come from? He made a hell of a debut. The Steelers are usually pretty tough against the run.

It was clear Richardson made our guys better. Minshew does not.
I have to agree with you.

Based on what we've seen this season. What positions should we draft. And order. I had thought we need a receiver. Now i don't know. How about linebacker?

I think we still need an edge rusher. Samson is good, Kwity is good at setting the edge. We get a lot of sacks mainly due to Buck.
But it sure would be nice to have a guy that defenses have to scheme for when he's out there. It also takes their TE out of play a lot.
I was very disappointed we didn't go after the two Washington players. Yes, he would have been a rental and expensive to keep. But if he works out, it's well worth it.
We need Grover back bad. This week. I'm sure he will be hungry to redeem himself. Watch how much better the line will play.

Last week people on this thread were saying Minshew can't throw the long ball. Looked ok to me. I will admit they haven't thrown the long ball and kind of made me wonder why. We were beating teams up on the ground. If the passing game opens Taylor and Moss should have a blast.

Maybe Reggie Wayne's work with him is paying off.

The naysayers bashed Fries then moved on to Pierce.
Who you gonna bash now?
I never bashed Fries. Last week on this thread people were bashing Minshew that he could not throw the deep ball. Well it turns out that he can. Maybe pierce will start getting some passes thrown his way.

I'm so glad it finally happened. Nice game Alec.

While statistically he is not as productive as many of us would like, however, there was a graphic posted during the Patriots game (I believe) that stated he has run the most miles of any receiver this year in the NFL. That is by design as they are using him to clear out the underneath routes................Minshew doesn't have the arm strength to hit him on the deep balls and AR5 was too green to let those develop when he was playing.
So statistically he is not offering much, but the staff likely does not share your sentiment.
That is probably the most logical post yet on this topic.

What do you want Pierce to do if Minshew will not throw him the ball when he’s open?
Your right there is nothing.

I feel as though I'm in the minority here. He was a second round pick. I'm not saying he is a bad player but i would like to see more. Much more.

Apparently, you don't own a TV?
I have many tv's. If you think he's playing well, you don't know what you're talking about. He's a receiver. We need him to catch the ball and hopefully gain some yards. You understand the concept. Or do you?

Well that's good.

I keep hoping for him to break out. But in reality he offers little to nothing for our offense. If Pittman gets hurt we would be in big trouble. Downs will do well in the future. Possibly 2 receivers will be needed in the draft.

I was going to post about Leonard before this happened but I'm not surprised about this. He has really regressed to the point of a below average player. He is nowhere near the player he used to be. It's a business.

One thing is becoming quite clear is that the Afc South will be one of the best in the Nfl.
