  1. I live in Upsate NY but make an annual trip to Indy for a game.....I would suggest Killians (close to Homewood Suites) to watch the game at...or Colts Grille (at the base of Embassy Suites)

    That's actually Kilroy's.

Colts Grille would certainly be fun, but pretty much any bar with decent TVs should be pretty fun.

Man, there will be major partying in the city if the Colts win.

  2. You're assuming where there's no definite information. Your system only has a chance of working if there are both black and white hats.

I think that if all were black, #1 would die for sure, but the others would still have enough information to survive.

Edit:  Actually #1 would say black and live. MY mistake above.

  3. It doesn't matter the configuration of hats.  There could be 3 black hats and 7 white hats.  As long as the first person honestly calls out which one is the odd number, everyone in front of him lives (if he lies, then #2 also has a 50/50 chance, but everyone else lives, assuming he tells the truth).

Lets say there are hats in the following configuration (#1 sees all in front of him and guesses first).

    W-B-B-W-B-B-B-B-B-B

#1 sees only 1 white hat, so he calls out "white."  Lucky for #1, he was wearing a white hat, so he lives.  #2, knowing that there is an odd number of white hats in front of him knows that there is still an odd number of white hats.  This must be true because when #1 saw an odd number of white hats, there must be an even number of black hats in front of him (which number two also knows) because there are 9 hats in front of #1.  You cant have both an even or odd number of white and black hats when there are 9 total hats in front of #1 (i.e. odd#+odd#=even# and even#+even#=even#) With 9 total hats remaining the only way you can add an odd number of white hats to get an odd number of total hats is to add another even number of black hats.  Therefore, if #2 sees 1 white hat in front of him and 7 other black hats, that means that #2's hat must be black, because at the time, #1 saw an even number of black hats.

    This.

Number 1 can impart enough information into the system to allow the others (if they follow the strategy) to survive.

Of course if anyone wants to hose the people in front of them they can.  :shifty:

  4. my daughter said she got it at some yelp bizarre or something.  I'll ask her again

All of the products from the RCA Dome fabric are done through an organization in my neighborhood, Fountain Square, called People For Urban Progress.

They make wallets, courier bages and other products from the dome fabric,

They also got a lot of the Super Bowl banners and make items form those.

Here's a link the their website, I'm sure that they can help track down a snowflake at one of their retail outlets:

  5. There can be more wrong with a person's eyes than near or far sightedness.  My wife just found out in the past couple of weeks that her peripheral vision has been pretty severely compromised by the early stages of glaucoma.  She didn't even realize it until she was tested for it.  She now needs eyedrops for the rest of her life to control the glaucoma.  If DHB has something like that going on it could really affect his ability to see the ball coming from certain angles.  The unfortunate thing is they can't reverse this.  They can only try to prevent it from getting worse.

  6. I'm not saying he faked the fall at all. I'm just saying I think he flailed a little on the way down. I'm only offering my opinion, not a fact. I could be dead wrong and I'm perfectly okay with that.

Luck was reaching up, probably to undo his chinstrap, when the jerk hit him.  Next thing he knows he's doing a face plant.  Not really surprising that his arms flailed.

And let's not forget that Vickerson is the same upstanding player that may have cost another Colt a season ending injury:

  7. From what I've read he has to believe in the product (he uses it) and i think he also wants to be a part of the business end of it. He's a "hands-on" kind of guy from what I've seen thus far. Very cerebral.

Don't know if that equats to mainstream so well since his opportunity to have a hand in anything other than marketing would probably take up a lot of time. But that's just my opinion.

    I've been exploring MC10's website:

What a cool company.  It's not surprising that Andrew wants to be involved.  Sounds like he's getting some equity in the company as well which could be a great move financially.

Here's the MC10 Sports Advisory Board (including Matt Hasselbeck).  Very interesting group of people Andrew will be working with.

  8. McAfee would probably be the most fun guy on the team to go out for a beer with.  :)

He's certainly developed a following locally and on social media (so I've heard).  Yeah, he's out there promoting himself, but why the heck not?  I certainly enjoy his Tuesday morning visits to Bob and Tom.

  9. Luck will certainly get his endorsement money, but it doesn't seem to be one of his top priorities.  They already announced that he's going to do endorsements for Klipsch speakers and headphones, which is cool because it's an Indy based company.

My favortie though, is the spot that he and Dwayne Allen did for, of all things, the public library:

  10. I have no problem with Irsay giving his feedback to Pagano/Grigson as it is his team and his money that pays the salaries.  It is no different than my boss checking on how some of my projects are going or asking why a project had some hiccups.  My problem is the guy tweeting it all so the world can see.  Just keep it behind closed doors.

Unless your project at work is broadcast on a national television network and then picked up by every media outlet in the country, it's actually a lot different.
