My bets are Pagano and Manusky will make this guy better in run support. Pagano coached the Cleveland Browns CBs in 2001 to be one of the top units that year. THE CLEVELAND BROWNS!

Pagano is a great DB coach that allowed a Cleveland Browns secondary to be one of the leagues best in the early 2000's. I think we have more talent that what we think we have..

Edds was just as productive at Iowa as Angerer was and many thought he would be a better pro..................he, Jerrell Freeman and Mario Harvey will more than likely battle it out for 3rd and 4th on the Inside Linebacker depth chart. I would say that Edds has the upper hand having been with us for a year AND he was drafted by the Dolphins (3-4) and spent some time with the Patriots (3-4) before coming over to us last year!

The cap hit on DFree would be 5 mil. But we would save a total of 14 mil after cap hit. So a great idea to cut or trade....hopefully trade

So we would have to give the Ravens about 2 million dollars...hmmm. If the contract is right, I still think signing Webb is worth it. It may not be worth it if the Ravens ask for Webb's original draft round that he was drafted in, which is the 3rd round. Let's see how it plays out, so I'm not taking him off right away.

Why would "Colts fans" hope Manning demolishes their favorite team? I never got that kinda idol worship. I love Peyton and hope he does well, if he plays anymore at all that is. Seems a little nutty to support one man soooo much....were Green Bay fans this nutty over Favre?

It would be a mistake to pay Freeney loads of money with Pagano as coach. Pagano likes the hybrid 3-4/4-3 looks, but even in those looks having small DE's is not kosher. Trade Freeney for some picks (could get a 2 and 4th rounder) and use that money saved to secure Mathis in a Pagano defense.

DE- Brayton or Nevis
NT- A. Johnson or draftee
DE- J. Anderson
LOLB- J. Hughes
MLB- K. Conner
MLB- Pat Angerer
ROLB- Phillip Wheeler
CB- would love Morris Claiborne, Powers, Thomas, Lacey, Rucker
SS- Draftee or Bullitt
FS- Bethea

Wow great question...there are a couple of things I would think about doing...
1. Draft Luck and trade him. To the right team he might be worth a pro bowler and draft picks.
2. Trade pick. Move down and get a first rounder for next year and draft for need this year
3. Draft, keep him through first year then trade him. Doing this because of the education he had under Manning might serve us well. The right team might fill all our weakness in one trade.
