Need some better RG play. I am not giving up on Satele just yet. I will give him a few games this season to see if he improves. Cherlius is still up in the air as well. He hasn't had a great preseason but he was great in Detroit. I hope AC takes that next step this year and truly improved on his pass blocking. He is in year 3 now and I am kind of expecting him to make that jump.

Atlantic City, NJ. Having all the buddies over fro the first football Sunday of the year. Power Hour woooo.

Apparently he sustained this hit in the Cincy game, played 22 more snaps and also practiced Monday-Wednesday. Why wouldn't he go to the trainers sooner? There is a quote on twitter of Pat saying "He just thought it would go away."

Peyton just being Peyton.
And sooner or later, we will start saying Andrew just being Andrew.
It puts a huge smile on my face to see Peyton play to such a high level still. The situation this organization was in was an extremely tough one. But it really seemed to work out for all parties. Peyton needs to win now, so he goes to a team with a great supporting cast around him. Colt's wanted to set themselves up for the future and change the culture of this team. That is exactly what we did. If Peyton wins another championship or two before he retires than awesome. I will be rooting for him the entire way, unless our roads cross. He will always be a huge part of this team. It's absolutely ok to still love Peyton and respect what hes doing. Having Andrew has made this transition incredibly easy for the most part. Not once last year did I watch a game and go I really wish we still had Peyton.
Peyton being on the Broncos just gives me another team to cheer for when i'm not watching the Colts.

Nah...the females lay there.
You're on an internet forum telling people to get a life. Can't blame a man for loving football. Absolutely nothing wrong with missing it during the off-season and watching the preseason with enthusiasm.
To the OP, no worries. It's back and the next 5 months will be a ride. 5 solid months of Sunday/Monday entertainment, and if your a fantasy player with quite a bit of money invested the excitement can be even higher.

Is it just me or does he seem to also catch with his body a lot and less with his hands.

Personally I would have liked to hold onto Karim, I liked his ability, Williams shows flashes though, we absoltely have to block better on Returns, we have been awful at that
I agree. Karim was fun to watch when given the chance. He sure had some great acceleration and speed to him.

Only a series if at all. Most of the starters probably won't play.

Gladiator was an awesome movie.
"I once knew a man who said, death smiles at us all, all a man can do is smile back."

Don't wear the hat. Rock some Colts gear, show them that you are loyal. Make a good impression.

I'm not going to respond to any of these replies and I am afraid this thread is going to spiral out of control. However, one of the best traits they have is both Peyton and Luck elevate the players around them to new levels. That in itself will bring this team a championship again.
And anyone who feels #18 was anything short of incredible is incredibly misinformed. I think people often forget his abilities and many of the clutch moments he had himself.

Pags says Link will probably get the start but would like to get Thornton some first half snaps.

BREAKING NEWS: #colts trading RB Delone Carter to Baltimore Ravens. Good move for Carter. Didn't fit in team's plans.
Dunno for what yet.

I would hope so, if I remember correctly some of our most successful and fluid drives last year were under the no huddle/2min offense.

The Colts piped in crowd noise during today's practice to prepare for the road environment in New York
Wouldn't be the first time they did that. ;)

^Hyperbole.
I'm glad you understood me mocking of all the pessimists on this forum. Or didn't you!??

When Landry does pushups, he stays still and the earth moves down.
Superman used to have this in his sig with Bob Sanders. It definitely works for Landry too though.

Ahhh redzone is the death of us.
-
A lot of times that he gets beat is because he's not turning around or doesn't have his hands up. If you ever notice he has a lot of skill to stay with the. WRs. If he works on his ball hawking skills he could potentially be very good.

I can't wait for the season to start so you guys can actually criticize something worth it. When he has a bad case of the dropsies in an actual game, than yes by all means blast the kid to death. From what were hearing is he has been improving. Allow him to work on his hands and continue to progress. Give him some time and stand behind him. If he can pair what he does after the catch with a bit more solid hands we all will be glad he plays for us.

I cannot wait for Sunday. Taking the train in and tailgating with some friends who will be there. I've never been to Metlife, hopefully I don't get harassed too much for wearing full colors.

I think his biggest asset is that he has Reggie Wayne as a mentor. He seems to have a great work ethic and desire to be the best. He has the tools to do it. It's all up to him. He is my favorite pick from last years draft.
During an interview at the Bills he spoke about how helpful Reggie and Luck have been. So I agree having Reggie mentoring him is going to do wonders for his career. Ty is going to be very special this year, he's a worker and he will be rewarded for all the work he puts in.

He didn't look great. But don't forget he had 12 targets. So he was obviously getting open. He signed late with the team, give him a few weeks to get back into shape and into the rhythm. I for one think Clark has a bit left in him. The stamina he showed last night after taking so many hits and the way he reacted after dropping the TD to me are indicators that he still wants to be a great football player. I think he will smooth out and be a solid addition and one of Flacco's more reliable targets until Pitta returns.
