  1. How about this guy? A 5th round pick no one expected much out of at all, and he is really proving his worth as a pass rusher. 4.5 sacks so far this season, and he is only a rookie! Manusky needs this guy on the field in every passing situation, he can just get to the QB a lot better than any of our current QB's. This guy's ceiling is incredibly high.

didn't know our qbs get after other qbs?  or was that a typo?  haha funny im the only one that noticed that.

  2. Nice summary!

I thought Werner was better against the run than I have seen to date. His pressures were outstanding. He was truly

    a force in this game.

We still have some work to do on our LB's in coverage, but it didn't hurt us today.

The Ahm-ent (Ahmad & Trent) show was a thing of beauty today (aside from the Bradshaw fumble). Both guys are

rounding out to be a ground and pound duo which will wear down offenses.

    you mean wear down defenses?

  3. I've noticed trent runs better when he runs straight up the middle, he gains yards this way (which is the bruiser method).  When they do the runs on the edges he loses yards or gets back to the LOS.  I think they need to use the edge runs for speedy rbs that can get around the edge.

  4. Our tight ends will not get 1,500 yards receiving.

They'll get roughly 100 catches combined...   and probably average 11-13 yards per catch combined.   That comes out to 1100-1300 yards per catch.    1500 yards is just way too high.   Those would be wide receiver like numbers.

And this is more true than ever with Nicks joining Reggie and TYH and Rogers (plus Brazil/Whalen)....

Wish they could....   but they won't....

And if they do,  I'll buy you a whole lot of Apple Juice!!

How do you get 1100-1300 yards per catch, when the football field is only 100 yards... hmm.  haha

  5. this was from wthr

Brian McCarthy, the communications director from the NFL, says Irsay will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy that applies to players, coaches, team employees and team owners. It states: "All persons associated with the NFL are required to avoid 'conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League."

  6. Per Mike Chappell: GM Ryan Grigson on C Phil Costa: "Phil is a young, hard-nosed and physical center who has shown he can play at a winning level in our league. He will provide strong competition at the center position.”

keyword here:  competition.....does that mean something?
