Reich lost this game.
-
That's a fumble.
-
Lets face it. The bills have gotten every break in this game.
If the Colts get even half of those they win.
-
Right there is the difference.
Rivers couldn't have made that play.
-
-
I have to figure that Frank going for that two pointer and not getting it kind of took the momo, energy, and excitement the Colts players had after scoring that TD.
Made no sense.

54 yarder in the cold? Wow
He drove the ball.
RB kind of kicks it like a guy who has the yips putting.

So far that is at least 4 points Reich has cost us.

That call makes no sense.
I am stunned. Although I shouldn't be.

I don't understand..............

Rivers waiting until 1 to snap the damn ball every play is just making things harder for him.
Yeah obviously that has been a strategy from the coaching staff but for the life of me I can't understand the reason other than to shorten the game. But he is still doing it even in the hurry up.

This is right about the time Rivers thrown an interception.
Watch. -
That pass is exactly what I am talking about with Rivers.
Allen may have thrown it a tad to late, but his spin and velocity on the ball got the ball there before the defender could make a play.
If Rivers had thrown that ball, it would have been knocked down or intercepted because HE HAS NO SPIN ON THE BALL.
If some if you can't see that I don't know what to tell you but you cannot win a SB with a Rivers who can't run and who can't throw with spin.

Several teams have won Superbowls with "game managers", and great defenses.
Colts don't have anywhere close to a great D.

They weren't awful. Again, Allen's WRs are catching very imperfect passes.
And you could also focus on drops by Pascal, Taylor, and others. I'm not talking about he last drop by Taylor. He was about ready to get blown up for a loss, so it's actually good he didn't catch it.
I'm scratching my head more why Frank is not using Bigs in the RZ vs their tiny DBs, why he didn't take the 3pts, and why he used Hines on a gut goal line run...
Difference is Allen is making those passes while running full speed towards the sidelines and completing them. Rivers could never do that.

Will you maintain that opinion even if we win this game?
Absolutely. Said it all year.
I really like Rivers but he is not a gamechanger. He is a game manager.

he kicked that like he stepped on a lego... that was pretty bad... gonna need a turnover or special teams play to flip this
He does that a lot. Looks like he tried to guide the ball instead of powering through it.
Noticed it all year. Doesn't seem confident.

It was an awful pass. Both of those were not Pittman's faults. Potentially 14 points off the board because of Rivers. He's played good otherwise, but his two bad throws have been crucial. Rigo's miss might be the last straw. The are going to break open soon.
Colts are just killing themselves
That has been Rivers M.O. his entire career. Doesn't come through in the clutch.

This offense is just not explosive enough. We need another good WR and probably a new QB. Rivers has been solid but we need a game changer back there. Sad way to end the year
Stafford.
Eason.
Draft another qb.
Wentz.
In that order. But we are never going to win a SB with Rivers.-

Too many mistakes.
Reich bag call.
Turay off side.
Dropped passes.
Now a missed FG.
You don’t win as road underdogs in the playoffs with these mistakes.
Way too many mistakes agree.

This could get ugly. Other than a few runs the running game has been pretty weak.
Rivers lack of ability to be mobile and to throw the ball downfield with any velocity at all just severely limits the offense.
If the Colts want to make the next step?
They need an upgrade at QB. Younger. Faster. Stronger. More spin on the ball.
I would also look at finding a new kicker. RB doesn't have the leg and isn't that accurate lately. He almost tends to guide the ball when kicking rather than exploding the ball through.
-
Some bad play calling.
Some bad wr play.
Horrible play by Turray.
Some bad luck with the hail mary plays the Bills made and the reviews that stood, and this is what happens.
Fact is the Colts should have taken those 3 points at the end of the half.

Difference in this game is the bills WRs are making quality to very tough questions.
Colts Wrs are not.

I don't know how you don't kick the fg there.

Reich and Rivers both need to go.
Reich would be a fine OC but as a coach he makes terrible decisions. Those lost 3 points be paramount.
Rivers can't move and throws with no spin and no velocity. He couldn't even make that end of game Hail Mary to the endzone.
In contrast Allen completed numerous passes that Rivers never could have, including many while running to the sidelines.
