JT and Smith out now?
-
Are we challenging that?

I’ve been the run the ball guy but I think this where you take a play action deep shot to Pierce.
I can live with some play action, usually where Minshew does his best work
-
Now run the ball down their throat
-
We’ve been shocking when behind at HT all season. Let’s see if we turn things around when things haven’t gone well for a change.

Games like this show that our talent level is STILL mid tier at best... Wish Minshew could go against our PASSIVE defense cause Atlanta has been bringing heat!!!!
Story of the Colts over the past decade though. We never truely stink for long enough to get a group of blue chip guys together in the top 10-15 of the draft.
We stink for one year grab a QB and try to move forward with mid talent around them.

Atlanta has a lot of athletes on offense. We do not.
They also constantly pick top 10 so you would hope they managed to find some decent players

Well that was way too easy

Need a stop or ideally a TO from the D to start the half. Hopefully OL gets their % together and we can establish the run a bit more to see the game out.
-
Unlucky that we get the Falcons after they decide to give up on Ridder

Got lucky there that the ST error didn’t cost us more. Really need the offence to work this down and get a lead going into HT.
-
What the hell was that?

* tighten up D

Ah should’ve run it to make sure they didn’t have a shot
-
Come on!!! Let’s work this methodically down
the field now and score.

He had a couple of overthrows that got away from him on short routes but that’s to be expected, he was hardly going to fix all his flaws in his rookie offseason.
The aim is to show improvement this season then go out and get him a true WR1 this offseason through a top 10 pick in the draft or go out and trade for one.

It's possible the return would be much lower than anticipated. For example Amari Cooper went for a 5th last year...
That’s true plus I guess he won’t have many suitors since he seems pretty set on moving to a contender at this stage of his career

Thought we might have seen something on a D Hop trade by now
-
I’d guess Hyatt they said they were pretty keen to get some more weapons in the door
-
Nice pick. Has production and obviously the high RAS score that Ballard covets
-
Guess we are going to get a pretty clear picture of which QB is better with 3 of them fighting in the same division
-
Eagles rebuilding that DL over the last couple of years with so much talent is pretty insane. Gives them a free run I’ve the next couple to look at replacing some of the vets on the OL.
-
Early days yet but I wonder if we’re aiming to get a high pick next year and go after a QB or Harrison Jr at the top of the draft?
I doubt Jim would give Ballard that much slack but you never know.

Probably need to throw for it down here. They’re selling out to stop the run.
