    I didn’t need Simmons. But there was so many safeties out t there in FA. Remember colds went and for McLeod as insurance. He ended up the starter. Where is the insurance if it does not work or for injuries. There are only 17 games. You can’t wait until Dane four after it bites you in the butt to fix it.

    I am not even mad. It’s more sad that I allow myself to get excited for a season and nothing changes.

    Ballard actually has made us weaker or has done nothing in case of injuries.

    Last year he said injuries was the downfall of the secondary. So he decided to put us in the same and kind of weaker position this year as last year. Absolutely no depth at CB or safety. I could live with cross as a starter as long as he went and got an insurance policy in case it didn’t work. But he didn’t. If Brent’s or Blackmon get injured we are in really deep trouble.

    I haven’t been very excited for the season this year. Because I have a bad feeling what is going to happen with the secondary. My biggest concern is injuries because they will happen.

    James Boyd brought up a very good point and I think he is right. He mentioned how Richardson does better in 11 on 11 then 7 on 7. You’re also not going to see him at his best in preseason game because they are going to keep him very limited. He is at his best when he is unleashed. When he can run and extend plays.
