Good stuff here. Uncontrolled diabetes does cause you to have mood swings. I assume colts nutritionist will help him with this.
This does scare me a bit. I know how it is. My dad and younger brother is a type 1. While my dad does manage it well.. there’s still some days he gets angry and “blacks out” or can’t pay attention well and zones out. While my brother didn’t manage it well unfortunately passed away a couple years ago at 24.. bless his heart. I like this pick and I support it 110% I hope it works out! And all the best to him!

I like the attitude! And I don’t disagree.. why not us! But he did beat us in the playoffs what? 2018? So there’s that.. I went to that game and it was the worst day of my life.. probably why I don’t remember the year lol.

Just wanted to make a note as to what many people seem to be misunderstanding:
Yes, Latu had a neck injury. Yes, he was medically retired for a season.
However, this was not his decision. Washington essentially forced him to retire after a few team doctors incorrectly said he’d never play again so that the team could open up a scholarship spot and didn’t have to wait for him to get healthy. They never once gave him a chance to prove he was healthy with a physical, so Latu left for UCLA, where he almost immediately passed a physical and was cleared by their team doctors.
Yes, a neck injury is scary, but Latu has played 2 full healthy seasons since that, and the only reason he is being questioned is because Washington and their team doctors failed to do their jobs correctly and let Latu heal.
Also just saw this…
"At that time it was Covid and it was just a funky time and it just wasn't handled in the right way," Latu remarked. "I didn't have any physical examinations with any doctor at that time so really it was just an opinion of somebody's without even looking at my physical, without giving me a test and stuff like that. So, I feel like they were just doing what they felt best but at the same time I feel like it wasn't really handled in the best way."

GM is not our backup, he’s been our starter for at least 14 weeks maybe 15, almost a whole season. Shane called a good play and if were him I wouldn’t regret it for a second. He trusted our players to execute and they didn’t. Regardless still a good play call.

Why? I like the Texans and Stroud better than those Duuuvvvall guys. Stroud doesn't make many mistakes and he is years ahead of TLaw as a rookie. I like watching Stroud play better than watching TLaw play. Stroud makes guys like Nico Collins, who would be a journeyman with other QBs. TLaw has far more pass catching talent than Stroud too, thanks to Khan opening up his wallet. You must have a bias there.
I read this and kept saying Ty Law the whole time I saw TLaw lol

So the loser of the Colts/Texans game is eliminated?
Correct. Winner gets in regardless of jags. If jags lose it’s a bonus

Can anybody chime in on this? Based upon the above updates standings..
If Colts win & the Steelers, Bengals, & Texans all lose - aren’t we almost assuredly getting a spot even with a loss next week?
All the teams would be 9-8 at best. We would have the best conference record & divisional record over the Texans.
If that happened I believe the bengals would have to lose their last game as well. If they won, colts and bengals would be 9-9 and bengals have the head to head. We win out it’s looking good.

Good: colts won
bad: all the doubters because “steelers have our number”

I don’t understand this whole “they have history on us so we’re going to lose” thing. Who cares. Different players and different coaches. It’s not the same. Colts beat the chiefs a lot but that doesn’t mean the colts will beat the chiefs. Just ask Andrew.

I went to Peyton’s very first game in 98” against the dolphins ( I was 8 )
living in Colorado it’s hard to go to games unless it’s in Denver or KC, though I’ve been to Indy for games a handful of times. Oh and training camp A LOT.
I refuse to work sundays because I can’t miss the game.. even in 2011 lolive been to Andrews last game.. playoff game against chiefs.. honestly one of the worst days of my life.. 7 hour drive turned into 14 because it was an ice storm.. late to the game.. wet.. cold.. can’t sit because of snow.. and of course we lost.
I love the colts! 😀

I just want to make the playoffs.
I don’t care how we do it or if we even deserve to get in. I don’t care if we lose by 50 points first round against the dolphins. It’s been way to long since the colts have been there…
I just want to feel that excitement again

Not for nothing as we stunk like bad feet , but bad officiating cost the Colts 14 points. Obvious clip on Moore on their first TD and then holding call on Nelson.
Yeah that wasn’t holding on Nelson, awful call.

I would bet you. I would take the trend in history over how the teams look any day of the week. 18-3 Steelers since the Colts have been in Indy.
18-4 after Saturday lol

To be fair.. I get this post. A lot of players that play well under rookie contracts get extensions before they are up. That’s something Ballard does. I also believe that’s why JT was frustrated earlier this year. And Pitt deserves one imo.

If Jags and Colts win they colts move to 5. Browns and colts win colts stay at 6. This is such a huge game.
I want jags to lose. Let’s take the division

Did anybody find out what happens in this scenario??
Colts, Texans, & Jaguars all finish 11-6.
Colts > Texans via tiebreaker
Jaguars > Colts via tiebreaker
Texans > Jaguars via tiebreaker
All 3 teams have a 4-2 divisional record.
Would it come down to AFC Record? Or would Jags get it outright?
Jags win tie breaker because it goes to record between the 3 teams. Jags are 3-1 us or texans best will be 2-2.

I heard on colts podcast he was allowed back monday

My guess colts are going to trip up with one or two of these games. Falcons are actually 6-6. So a similiar record.
I think so too, but I hope not! As for your other comment.. are we actually the 6 and not the 7? I was so confused on that..

Not at all. Decent chance. As long as we handle our business.
Dolphins have a tough trio to finish season. Could see them finish at 11-6
We beat Ravens, so have that on them, if we end up tied.
Chiefs I could see winning out, but could just as easy lose 1 or 2. Then would have to look at the tie breakers a little deeper.
That’s exactly my thinking. Obviously we need to the jags to fall as well. Chiefs have the easiest schedule out of all the top seeds imo but I can see them losing a few. If colts and Texans win out until we meet week 18, crazy to think that could be a game for the 1 seed.
wishful thinking.. just happy to see us where we are right now!- 2

Am I crazy to think IF the colts win out (that’s a big if) we actually have a chance for the 1 seed?
yeah.. probably lol
