that's what I heard too from Chris widlic. Who do we all think will be coach if not tressel? He has down to Alabama and.now Georgia today. Any ideas?Dakish is saying on 1070 the fan reports are now are that... Tressel will NOT be hired.

Like someone else stated a couple days ago. (I think it might have been chad72) said Zimmer as HC, Clyde as OC, and Tressel as OC assistant.
I'd be totally fine with that. Tressel is more of a defensive coach. I could see staff like this, zimmer as hc, tressel as dc, and Ken zampese as oc. Zampese was qb coach with Cincy. Developed dalton pretty well.

maybe if zimmer comes he bring Robert Mathis back. I believe Tampa is only other team chasing him. We better hurry up though, because I don't want bengals locking zimmer up with a contract extension.Hope this is true, because I believe besides the Colts, Tampa is the only other team in the running for Zimmer.

mike zimmer and Andrew luck is a great duo.Hope this is true. We need a fiery leader for this team and Zimmer is just that. Plus it has been long overdue to fix and make this defense respectable. I can see many postseason appearances with Andrew Luck as our QB and Zimmer running a top 10 defense.

I just got a big tip that zimmer is favorite to land job. Tressel is a close second. Also, we interviewed Marc trestman yesterday. I repeat mike zimmer is favorite to land job.

no I just think colts are cleaning house and starting over. It's going to be a lot different next year.Okay that's fine and a fair view point. I just thought you were saying Tressel coming in ment Manning was gone because it was Tressel was coming in.

correct, I see manning gone and luck starting. I don't want to be in salary cap heck having 2 guys at same position combining to 50 million for one year. Sad to say I think Peyton is gone.So then it doesn't really matter who we hire you think Peyton is gone?

I just see new era all over the place like 98So how is that any different than if we hire anyone else? Like I said if Tressel is the guy he was at least here last year. I don't think Tressel being hired means anything one way or another in regards to Peyton.

I just can not see Peyton staying on if tressel is coach. New era ushered in with luck as starter.How does Tressel coming in = Peyton Manning being gone? If anything one could make a case Tressel coming in could = Manning staying if anything because Tressel was on this staff last year.

Peyton is gone if tressel comes on. Irsay said he will finish up interviews Tuesday. Look for announcement of tressel or someone else Wednesday or Thursday. I see it as tressel and luck running show in Indy next year.

Everyone buy your sweater vests and luck jerseys. Seems more and more likely he is coach. I agree with jcolt72 2 interviews usually means you are offered job. Only two interviews with grigson.

I think it is tressel as well. Luck and tressel to kick off new era of colts football. Irsay met with tressel for 9 hours. Counting time on plane to Indy and back.

Has anyone eve thought that it might not even be a coach? Robert Mathis lives in Atlanta which was wear Irsay went second.
Could we possibly be hammering out a contract extension.
