  1. No. Not yet at least.
It is hard for a guy with six years as a starter to surpass someone who played for 15-plus years.

However...he does have a shot at it. He is probably the only active QB capable of surpassing guys like Peyton and Montana and Brady (source: my opinion).
The thing is....it is very obvious that he is very talented AND cold. He plays with the arm talent of Dan Marino, the inteligence of a seasoned QB and the coldness of Tom Brady. Oh, and he can run too. There is no Allen/Burrow vs Mahomes = Manning vs Brady talks going on because Mahomes is BOTH Manning AND Brady. He is THE most talented, the best pure QB, AND the best winner, the coldest in the league today.

If we were talking about 7 years carrers...yeah he is pretty much over anyone. But to be the best ever he will have to keep going like this for at least 5+ years, win about 5 SB (total) and a couple more MVPs.

I used to wonder if you were from Brasil or from Brazil, IN (Clay County). So, you are from Brasil.

I have to tell my friend that the NFL is going to Brasil. Her husband is a huge fan of the NFL. But they are from Rio. My friend is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles haha.

welp I do have my avatar carrying a Big ol' Brazilian flag...

    Lets goooooooooo!!!

I'm going for sure! The audience of NFL in Brazil is getting bigger and bigger, this will be a expensive ticket, but it's a great signal for us in terms of football popularity.

NBA already have a big audience here, we do a NBA House on the plaoffs in São Paulo that is a pretty big event and is sold out every year. NFL should be able to profit here, love it!

Ps: We have better stadiums that this one chosen, I don't know whats behind it, but anyway, will not take anything away from it.

Yeah it'd be nice if they had choosen one of the better stadiums. Like Maracanã, Beira Rio. But they played Wolrd Cup games at the Corinthians Arena so for an NFL game it should be more than fine. Truth is we have a lot of good Stadiums around.

Oof, he got ripped a new one.  Can't remember if I participated in that or not, though I'd like to think I didn't.  I think it was Colts449 or something like that?  But yeah, he came back and did his victory lap and was posting for a little while after that but every.single.post he made from there on referenced how everyone else was wrong and he was a martyr crucified for his beliefs and it just got to be extremely grating.  Haven't seen him in a long time though.  Hope all is well with him.

Yeah I definately don't remember that. But what a villain origin story...the bulied became the Bully.

BTW I miss the times when I had time to scout and participate in those drafts of ours...those were/are fun.

Listening to the local sports talk out of Columbus, Ohio… they’re saying one of the NIL boosters have offered Stroud 12 million dollars if he stays one more year at OSU… which is more than he’d make on his rookie deal next year.

Why ain't I good in some sport omg. That's more than I'll earn in my entire lifetime...(Yes I'm jealous).

The 49ers. They’re in situations I wish we were in. They’re competitive and yet somehow don’t have a full answer at QB. They traded Buckner, went up in the draft to get Lance, and instead of trending down and having setbacks they’re right in the thick of the Super Bowl race. It’s incredible.

They’ve got a fantastic GM, and stable powerful HC, in tact lines, oh and then they went and got McCaffrey mid season… They’re the NFC version of the Steelers in a way. They just refuse to be bad.

Remember when everybody doubted John Lynch because he had no experience?

Success in these fields really have very few predictors.

I think Ballard was really high on him. It’s just never a good sign when a team gives up on a young guy like that. I know I’d be asking myself what they know and why?

    That's true. Remember Rosen? heheh

I don't know if I'd trade for him, but is worth thinking about it.

    No I would not.

I'm starting to get concerned with Fields and OSU Qbs in general.

I think they run their college spread offense and its clear Fields is still struggling to run a pro style offense.

He's not able to read a defense after a year which is why he runs so much which leads to injury.  Now, it is a little too soon to jump to conclusions about Fields, but hopefully he makes a big leap and starts throwing from the pocket more after year two.  Time will tell.

Dwayne Haskins had the same problem moving from the OSU spread to running a pro style offense.

I fear that Stroud will struggle as well.  It could be a couple of years before Stroud (if ever) is any good if Fields progress is any indicator.

Yeah, he showed progress, but not enough for the Bears to get completely behind him (which is not a good sign). I think he will eventually become a good QB if put in the right situation, but that is nothing more than a feeling.

I really thought Buffalo would be the only team who would help us, maybe the Texans will win, I doubt it but you never know.

I actually had hope in the Steelers, even with Rudolph, because at some point the Browns is going to do what the Browns always do and F it up hahah. But it wasn't today though, unfortunately.

As for the Texans, I agree with you. There is a chance, but a small one.

  9. Wacthed a part of LSU vs OU. We know how it went. The things is...Burrow had like 8 Tds, 7 passing (lost the end of the game, might be more), but most of them were to open recievers, and he had a ton of time. I fell like I wasn't as impressed as I should be with his performance. My question is, for those of you who like to scout and follow prospects, how good is Burrow really? I know he's about to be the first pick, but he  ain't a Luck or Elway tipe prospect right?

  10. I hope not but....

If there is anybody that I'd want breaking Peyton's record is Brees...Just don't let that guy be Brady.

Also, Brees is another guy that is an AMAZING playes but rarely had the team...and when he had the team last year the refs made sure to not let him go to de Super Bowl.

All time passing leader, soon to be all time TDs thrown leader, highest completion percentage in carrer...he's another example showing that rings do not show the greatness of a player...looking at his carrer he should have more than one.

Could be nothing...could be the Pats being the Pats...we shall see.

Guess you could say that they went back to the good ol' days with this strategy.

And guess what will happen? Yeah that's right...and the biggest cheater in history (or at least the biggest to get caught) will be a first ballot hall of famer, with 8 rings in his hands (2 with the giants)

I'm telling u.  It's the curse of Luck and its much like the curse of the Bambino. The Red Sox traded Ruth to the Yankees and didn't win a title for ever.  Let's watch this play out hahaha. We will never win a title till say 2080 or so!!!!!

    let's re-visit this in 61 years...

If you got it right, I'll change my avatar lol

  13. well...That's unfortunete. Hope this guy stays healthy next season, but gosh...we cannot seem to catch a break can we?

Fountain, Funchess, Campbell, Hilton, Rodgers, Ebron, and I feel like I'm forgeting someone...all out of the season (but TY, but it may be better for him to go to IR too)

We will definetly need a WR high next draft, cause our recieving corps ain't looking good now and won't in the future it seems.
