Anyone here heading to the Monday Night game? Being from Indy, I used to go to a lot of the games when I got the chance. Since moving here to the Carolinas in 08', we only got to watch the Colts during national televised games. This will be my wifes and daughters first ever NFL and Colts game. Should be a lot of fun. Will be trying to do some tailgating before the game. Hope to see a lot of Colts fans here.

I say play the guys that are able to play. Why do you guys keep thinking that the more rest these guys get, the better they will be when they come back. When in the history of the Colts have we kept resting a player and they have come back and played lights out. You think if we give Luck more rest, he will come back against the Patriots and put up 40+ points. Wishful thinking, but its not going to happen. Same goes with anyone else on the team. That is why I'm not happy with Mathis not starting. If he can play, get him out there and let him play the damn game. Stop treating these guys like they are a bunch of 5 year olds. Keep them in the groove of playing a game, and stop resting these players that don"t need the rest.

I would really like to hear what Teddy Bruschi has to say about all this now. After sitting on the NFL network really * off about how innocent Brady was and as a great friend would never violate the integrity of the game.

I'm sorry, but to me, Kraft and Belichick new about this the whole time. You don't own a billion dollar company and not know what's going on. Or be a HOF coach and not know what is going on. They probably told him "if you get caught, your on your own." Now the question is, what are 2 of the NFL'season most recognized names going to do about it? If you put yourself in their shoes and that you just found out that your HOF quarterback has been cheating, what should the two main leaders do about it? Just my 2 cents...

That would be great and all, but in 3-4 years down the road, we wouldn't be able to afford him being as good as Watts. Especially with a $100 million contract.

Taking him now would be stupid. He already said he'd sit out this year if he didn't get taken by the 3rd, not to mention he is currently involved in some way with a murder investigation.

Or maybe they just want to wait and see what Russell Wilson contract will be. I wouldn't think they want to give Luck the highest contract in history for someone that hasn't been to a Super Bowl yet. See what Russell gets and then work around that. Just a thought...

Why can't you put some blame on Pep? Isn't he the one calling the plays into Luck? Shouldn't Luck be smart enough to change the play when he see 8 guys in the block on a run play?

This is the way I see it. This is the best team that Irsay's money could buy. If not, then they should have gone crazy when free agency opened up a couple months ago. So stop saying we aren't there yet. We are. Both on Offense and Defense. We have the same amount of good and great players as any other team in the league. Vets and newbies. As far as the injury bug. Yes. Every team in the league is saying the same thing we are saying. The injury bug could make or break your chance in reaching the SB. To me, it's all about how the pieces fit together. I think this offense can be just as great as Denver offense last year. I think our Defense is way better than last years defense. This team is going into it's 3rd year with Pagano. If the players don't believe in the system now, than next year won't be any different. If this team believes they are the best and can work together as one (*Playoffs 2007 Colts, 2013 Seahawks) then they will go all the way. The only ones standing in the way of winning the SB are the Colts themselves. Not the injury bug, not this player or that player we don't have yet. Not, well we aren't there yet, give it another year. It's themselves....Go Colts!!!!!

Am I seeing something different? Everything you guys blame on Trent should be thrown on Pep.He is the one that is calling the plays. Maybe he never liked this Trent trade. Maybe, he just doesn't like him. But, come on Pep!! I mean, we all see a play call for Trent, and nothing will give. All of the sudden, you bring in Donald, and you get a +15 yards. The line just seems to open up. It's not the line, it is Pep. This team needs to start letting Luck start changing the plays at the line. YEAH LUCK!!!!, If you have a run play with Trent called in, and then you see 8-9 guys in the box., maybe you should change the play!!! You guys are always setting yourselves up for failure. Blame Pep for all of this. He is the one making the calls.
Also, just one thing I would like to add. PLEASE!!, work on your fakes on handing it off to the RB. Peyton would do this and completely fake out the defense. I've have never seen such a fake that Peyton couldn't do.

Don't think ATL is even putting in a bid for 2018
Bids for Super Bowl LII are due this weekend. Cities reportedly in competition for the 2018 Super Bowl include Minnesota, Atlanta, New Orleans, Denver, and Miami. San Francisco was awarded Super Bowl L and Houston was awarded Super Bowl LI this past spring.

We won't get it because Minnesota and Atlanta will have their new stadiums by then. We might get the 2020 SB. But, I believe one of these cities will have the 2018 and 2019 SB. And if L.A. gets a new team that city might even get the 2020. Heck, we might have to wait to 2021.
