The biggest factor for the loss was the play calling.
Pep hasn't figured out when to call a run play, a screen play, or a quick slant ... Not only to slow down the rush, but to wear down the defense long term. Finally (too late once he did) in the second half the Colts drove down the field with solid "move the chains" play calling.
If Pep continues to expect Hilton and Luck to carry the offense, they wont make it through the season. He has all those weapons, he should try using them 5 yards at a time. ... Like the Patriots do.

I had some hope the Colts would benefit Marcell Dareus being suspended for this game.

Remember when Bob Sanders came back? It would have only been 370 had he been in the game.

I'm not nearly as concerned about the defense as I am about the offensive play calling. It was offensive. If you can't sustain long clock eating drives, you can't go deep into the playoffs. Can't win the game with one big pass in the 1st quarter.
The reason why Luck has so many comeback wins is the horrible first half play calling that puts us in a hole.
