  1. Here's a stupid quote from the head of the Colts braintrust:

“He’s got to take care of the football,” said Pagano, who was clearly frustrated during his press conference. “Make great decisions, take care of the football. It’s not that hard. It’s not trigonometry.”

Trigonometry is high school math.  A guy who went to Stanford shouldn't have a problem with high school math. But here's our coach, thinking trigonometry is too hard for a guy who went to Stanford.  Meanwhile, Belichick and Brady are working on advanced calculus.  Figuratively, not literally.

Of course, I understand, he's not speaking literally. But his choice of what's hard and what he needs to teach his team are sadly lacking.

Our owner needs to sober up long enough to fire Pagano and hire someone who aspires to do better than high school math.  Under Pagano, Luck is regressing.

  2. Watched a replay of the Brady gm, and I'm gonna blame the offense and Pep Hamilton. I just dont think they come into gms w/ good gameplans. The playcalling is predictable. The short oassing game is nonexistent at times. Brady has all day to throw 5yrd passes that soke wr can run another 10yrds after he catches it.

And why didnt Pep run plays for Fleener? The TEs are not adequately used imo.

I read where the Bills knew exactly what the Pats were doing, according to multiple defensive players.  But the release was so quick, they could not get to Brady.

Sometimes, the QB makes an O-Line look good or bad.

  3. Yeah, too easy.

Belichick will adjust, shut this offense down from here on out, and let Brady take control of the game, who will start by walking down the field for an even easier TD, starting now.

    You must be clairvoyant.
  4. I wasn't able too watch the game yesterday because I was riding but I saw the score afterwords and looked at the forum for a second before contemplating deleting my account here due to people overreacting. Everyone needs too keep in mind this is not the Buffalo team of the past, this is a extremely competitive team and I will put money saying there a top 3 defense this year with the #1 dline. If you factor in the fact this is Tyrod a Rex's first game they were going to be explosive no matter what and we're going to win against most of the teams in the nfl. Saying that I am pretty happy about our defensive line lots of penetration. Moving Butler outside is a terrible decision and I'm sure if toler would have been healthy the game would have looked better. Our offensive problems I am squarely blaming on pep. Knowing they were going too bring blitz after blitz and kept pushing the deep ball was stupid there weren't nearly enough runs too keep the defense honest wich caused an endless barrage on our O-line wich caused alot of penalties. I know Luck has alot of control at the line on calling plays but running the hurry up like we did that sits more so on the offensive coordinator. We only lost by 2 touchdowns we were 1 penalty and 1 catch away from tying the game. Please everyone settle down they are a really good team and will upset more really good teams this year.

    You should change your tampon.

  5. Why are there incessant referances to "Belichick" and all things Patriots?  They're a team, we're a team.  We have no reason to be obsessed about whether or not Bill Belicheck thinks Andrew Luck is a good QB.  I hate to see that in someone's sig block.  We don't care what Brady said about Manning. We should not care about what "they" think.  Get the New England Patriots out of your head!

  6. He wasn't a sexy prospect during the draft process, unless you read PFF. I'm not saying I think he should be after 1 game for all those who are going to say that.

The question is, being the kind of under the radar prospect that he is, can he win DROY over other players if he puts up sufficient production.

    No.

  7. I don't understand why Denver kept throwing on first down and not running which worked early. But their offense was horrendous. It lacks any ability to get any chunk yardage unless they pop a big run. Manning looks very uncomfortable and his protection was bad too. This is the first time in a long time that he has not thrown a single TD. Quick turn around for KC Thursday.

Still very happy they beat the Ravens. :)

It's not.  Going back to last year, he has not thrown a TD pass on 3 of his last 5 games.
