  1. @csmopar It's a knee, possibly an MCL. Not sure of the degree, but he is out this game. Future games still TBD pending tests.
  2. Why even call for 9 routes on 3rd and long when the D is deeper and set up for it? ??? !!! ???
  3. Browns just took a 27 - 19 lead. yes, 23 - 3 right now. On paper, but games aren't played on paper.
  4. Most points given up in a game this year, let alone a half. Start beating your man. Wilkins with a rib injury. But he's back in.
  5. I'm on siriusxm Colts station (radio) Absolutely... but Henry says you have to catch me first... On the Brissett TD That's the way Venturi says he'd rather lose this game, rather than take a demoralizing pounding by Henry.
  6. Jags 375? Venturi is saying shut down the run 2nd half and let Tannehill beat us passing. Getting beat down by the run is demoralizing. Our penalties are as bad as getting beat one on one...
  7. How do you make an adjustment for everyone getting beat mano a mano every play?
  8. Venturi is saying all D line are getting blown off the ball. All day. Setting us up to go one way, and cutting it back.
  9. AC got rolled up on in that TD, in the locker room with a knee injury.
  10. Any player possessing the football – a runner or receiver after a catch (now also a runner) – may use an open hand to ward off a defender trying to make a tackle. The feeling is that a runner is limited in his ability to ward off defenders because his other hand is securing the football. However, he may not grab or twist the face mask of the defender, but he may only use the open hand against the defenders helmet or face mask.
  11. The monoclonal antibodies by Eli Lilly just received an EUA, and Regeneron’s Casirivimab and Imdevimab Antibody Cocktail for COVID-19 is First Combination Therapy to Receive FDA Emergency Use Authorization. It is the first treatment of any kind to have prospectively confirmed and statistically significant anti-viral activity against SARS-CoV-2 virus. The team coaches or front office probably could- "Covered entities under HIPAA are health care clearinghouses, certain health care providers, and health plans. ... Neither employers nor other group health plan spo
  12. Darn, I called it (based upon video replays I saw on TV at the time). "With both the MCL and ACL torn, Burrow is in for a lengthy rehab. For comparison, Carson Wentz suffered a similar multi-ligament knee tear on Dec. 10, 2017, and missed the first two games of the 2018 campaign." From NFL.com https://www.nfl.com/news/bengals-qb-joe-burrow-suffers-torn-acl-mcl-in-left-knee I hope there's not any other damage in there that they're not letting out (like a meniscus, PCL, or posterolateral corner injury, etc). Feel bad for the kid, and Bengals fans.
  13. Posted this right after score was 21 to 7 I remember that post, and said "Yup' to myself. I learned my lesson not to pick up my tent stakes and pack up to leave during the Colts vs. Pats 2006 AFC championship game when the Pats went up 21 - 3, and at halftime it was 21 - 6 in Favor of BB/Brady. Colts came back the 2nd half, and Jeff Saturday blew open a hole for Addai's lead taking TD run. giving the Colts a 38 - 34 advantage. Then moments later Marlin Jackson intercepted Brady in Colts territory with less than 25 seconds left in the game to seal the big comeback.
  14. It also illustrates why you are never 'just one player away'. Because with injuries being a 100% probability in the NFL, once you get your 'one player away' on the roster, another one (or two) players might be placed on IR. Full team and roster development for me, not just a key piece, please.
  15. Toe? Look here ↓ Only 6 days after suffering the ACL and meniscus. 230 consecutive starts. I just do not see Iron Man Rivers letting a toe boo boo end that legacy and streak. OTOH, being a dangerously mobile QB, it could affect that part of his game, a little ... ... /sarcasm off
