If Vic Beasley, Malcolm Brown, or Brandon Scherff fell I would be extremely happy if the Colts took them.

Damn, I'm all for 2nd chances, but ya gotta draw the line somewhere.
I agree 100% I guess I worded it wrong. I am meaning if he is found innocent of these charges then I don't see the problem of him getting a second chance somewhere. However, if he is found guilty different story. I was just saying people are innocent until proven guilty, and people seem to just assume he is guilty of whatever he is charged with.

I doubt the front office is looking to make a trade for a safety, but I have been shocked before.
Reshad Jones from Miami might be an option for 4th rounder. Miami may need to open up a little book space after signing Suh.
Only other way I can think of possibly picking up a solid safety would be drafting Tartt or Rollins in the 2nd. I know Rollins still has to convert from corner to S but I think he has the skill set to translate relatively smoothly.
Also, picking up Clayton Geathers or James Sample in the 4th could be an option instead.

Ok so if i average the amount of tackles Freeman had in 12 games starting which is 95 / 12 =7.9. multiply that by the 4 games he missed 7.9 x 4 =31.6 add that to his already 95 tackles, statistically he would have had around 126.6 tackles on the season which is still 12 less than a much older D'Qwell jackson.
Tackles can be a very deceiving stat line to compare to another player.

Holmes would be the better of the two as of right now. Who knows how Harrison will come back though after another offseason of work. Neither was all that impressive minus a game here and there this last year till Holmes showed up for the playoffs. I wouldn't mind drafting a C in the mid rounds of the draft for another option for the position.

because the fan vote has made the pro bowl a waste of time and down right dumb if that's your logic i feel bad for you
He didn't get to the pro bowl solely riding on the fan vote, so your logic is flawed as well. Fellow NFL players and coaches must of thought he was worthy of their votes as well.

I would love it if the Colts picked him up in the 2nd round. I feel he has the potential to be a solid corner in the NFL, but a move to safety may be better for his lack of straight line speed. He takes good angles, and tackles well for a corner, so I could see him changing positions somewhat smoothly. Only problem is I doubt he starts at S or CB this year baring injury as he would need some time to develop as a S, and he will be buried by corner depth.

Keeps his head on straight aka not raping people.
I don't agree with what he "did" or "did not" do, all I am saying is it is a low risk for the team that picks him up, and he could turn into a solid player wherever he goes. I understand your point, but maybe an NFL career may be enough help him change some of his ways? Maybe not? Who knows?

Randall is overhyped from his combine preformance and lack of talent at the position.
I completely agree, way overhyped due to a lack of S talent this year.

Nice draft, but some stretching IMO, I highly doubt Johnson, Anderson, and White are going to be there for those picks.
-
I like the draft, but I think maybe flipping the first and second round picks would work better. Possibly drafting an ILB like Kendricks in the first and picking a corner in the 2nd maybe 3rd. I don't mind Anthony but I feel there is more of a drop off from Kendricks to Anthony than there is Darby to the next couple corners on the board.
-
I really like this draft, a lot of nice picks. Personally I think Marpet is a solid 3rd rounder, so I doubt he is there in the 4th. Otherwise, not bad, I don't mind the UDFAs either. Johnson is definitely a low risk, high reward player if he keeps his head on straight.

I am a big fan of Davis, I wouldn't mind him in the first round if some of the other top D-Lineman don't fall. The media has been obsessed around Leonard Williams along with a few others, but seem to overlook talents like Carl Davis a 1-2 rounder and Xavier Cooper in the 2nd round. It is definitely a big time draft for D-Lineman this year, lots of talent throughout the rounds.

I like a lot of the players you have in your mock, but seems like a lot of reaching. Seems like most are being drafted about a round early. I was really high on Phillips as well, but now I am liking the Eddie Goldman pick or Shaq Thompson in the first instead. I actually like the Brandon Bridge pick in the 7th. A lot of arm talent just needs to be coached up could be a solid backup for Luck for the future. Not a big fan of Richardson in the 3rd seems to be shut down one on one against average lineman too often. Dezmin Lewis would be awesome in the 6th, but I think he will be a 4th-5th rounder based on a team reaching for upside. Nice mock draft though seems like some reaching, but overall I would be ok with this.

With me being from the good state of South Dakota I have seen him play in person many times. Definitely an underrated prospect in this years draft, and definitely worth a late round flyer pick. I think he is going to shock a lot of teams with his talent. He is definitely like Reality said a one-cut downhill runner. Runs with a lot more power than people give him credit for, and has surprising speed for a guy his size. He dominated the smaller competition like is expected and also played well against bigger schools like Missouri and Nebraska. The talent is there it shows with 3 2000yd seasons averaging 6.1 ypc with 988 carries.

Spikes would be a nice pickup if we don't close a deal with Nate Irving. Otherwise, both would basically serve the same role in our defense as early down and goal line linebackers. Both would be solid for depth, but either one wouldn't be a starter here. The front office and coaching staff seem pretty partial to Freeman and Jackson.
-
I thought he would of been this years value signing. Didn't think he would of got this type of money though, even with incentives coming off of a suspension, and with a possible suspension this coming year. Good fit for Dallas though, their defense just gained a lot of talent in the pass rush room.
-
I really like the picks in the 1st and 2nd round they would fill big holes in our defense. I think T.Thompson will be available a round later. So maybe a WR like Tre McBride in the 3rd round would be a nice pick up. Not really a fan of M.Jones, I think someone like Josh Robinson in the 6th would serve well instead. I also like David Perry, but I think Terry Williams would be another nice pickup in the 5th instead. Really nice mock, I wouldn't mind this at all.
-
Gipson would be ideal, but something tells me the Browns would match any offer we throw his way. They know how shallow this safety class is this year as well. Probably would take a 4th, but Reshad Jones is a possibility it gives the Dolphins more cap flexibility for all the holes they need to fix after cutting everyone for Suh.

"@smitty46953: Any rumors on more moves by the Colts?"» Terrence Knighton's in play. But he's on a visit to Washington now.

It wouldn't hurt to bring him in for another camp body. He hasn't done very well anywhere else, but it might do him good to get back into that Stanford offensive scheme.
