  1. I don't get how anyone thinks Dorsett should be starting right now.

He has a loooong way to go to beat out Whalen right now with his inability to

stay healthy, route running, questionable hands and playbook knowledge.

Next year Dorsett could easily beat out Andre for his spot if he works on some of

    his deficiencies.

  2. I think Grigson should go and possibly Manusky but I think Pagano should stay.

Hopefully, Pagano stays.  Chud stays, Grigson goes, and Manusky...needs to go or improve.

Why the hate on Manusky? His defense has done well this season regardless of turnovers and three

    and outs from our offense.

  3.  But it is Andrews obsession since he got in the NFL. He has had open recievers from day 1 run across his face open and Noooooooooooo, Andrew loves the long ball PERIOD!

I hope this changes under Chud's control, moving the chains is much more important than

a flashy play from time to time. Methodically moving the ball up and down the field wears

down the opposing defense, three and outs do not.

  4. haha at this poll. Yeah. Put whalen as a 2 and see what happens. The dude would get owned

He doesn't need to be a 2 because he is a slot receiver. The Colts never asked Stokley

or Collie to be a 2 because they are two very different positions.

  5. There has been a lot of chatter about Whalen on here lately, so who

is your top three receivers and why?

I am going with the speed of TY and Moncrief on the outsides and the Griffer as

our sure handed slot machine. Johnson is toast and Dorsett needs the offseason

to learn the playbook and just stay healthy.

  6. You realize this argument doesn't hold water don't you?  If that was Grigson's attitude then why does Harrison keep getting starts over Shipley (last year) and Holmes (this year) even though both are/were Grigson free agent or draft pick and have played better than Harrison?

Doyle also keeps getting snaps even though he was an UDFA from another team.

Touche', good points. Doyle is one of my favorites, just a hard nosed player.

  7. I have read where he treated pro players like they were in collage. That don't seem to work well for pro players IMO.

A Superbowl winning coach would change players attitudes toward him. I believe he would win

a title within 4 years on the Colts sidelines, he probably already has a title if not for the lights

going out for awhile at the Superbowl he was coaching in.

  8. The kid would have been starting his first season if he had been drafted by Grigs instead of

an UDFA. Grigs has been trying to smother this kid out with HIS picks and free agents, but

the Griffer keeps showing he needs to be on the field with his excellent hands and route running.

Pride of the people making the decisions is why it has taken so long for Whalen to solidify a spot

    on the roster.

  9. Exactly why the Colts don't need to spend their first round pick on an Olineman.  Even if you believe the Colts need to upgrade the guard, center or RT position (of which I don't believe that) you don't spend a first round pick on those type of players very often.  Starting quality/future probowl interior lineman and RTs can be had in rounds 2-4 regularly.

I could be happy with the first rd pick being a defensive front seven pick and an O lineman in the second.  :)

    Good post.

  10. That would be about the dumbest thing they could do.  1st pick better be on a pass rushing LB because they don't have a future one on the roster right now.

After last year I thought that Newsome would be the guy to take over the duties in 2016 but he looks completely lost out there this year.

Two of our top linemen are 1st and 2nd rd picks in Costanzo and Mewhort. I would prefer to go that

route but building the defensive front seven wouldn't give me a meltdown like last year's first pick.

  11. what about the liquored up mike vanderjagt...

Vanderjagt was anti cluth when the game was on the line but awesome during the middle

parts of the game. Vinateri is the opposite as I tend to sweat his kicks during the game

    instead of crunch time.
