  1. I disagree with that. The Packers can't beat the Seahawks or the Cowboys IMO this year without Jordy. I don't think the Packers make it to the NFC Championship at all. Cowboys have an elite O-Line, a solid Offense, an improved Defense from the draft. The Seahawks with Jimmy Graham and Tyler Lockett now have weapons on the offensive side of the ball for Russell Wilson finally. I see the Packers as the odd man out. I'm willing to hear why you think the Packers can beat the Seahawks and make the SB though.

I never count out Aaron Rodgers. That's why.

  2. RG3 cleared to play. Several offensive linemen do not like him, according to this. I don't blame them at all when he called out his teammates, doesn't surprise me some of his teammates dislike him.

This is no surprise. He threw them under the bus last year. Probably a big reason why he got rolled up on against the Lions.

  3. Well I still think he is dumb but that doesn't matter to me.

He seems like a good person and a great locker room guy. Humble in success. Dignified in defeat.

He is dyslexic from what I've heard so that could explain his reading troubles.

Everyone can agree he is/was a great running back.

This would have a lot to do with his reading troubles.

  5. I see where you are coming from man but when these guys are that talented why smoke weed?  They are pretty much saying I'd rather smoke weed than play football.  Doesn't that irritate you?  It does me because I know if I had a chance to be a pro athlete, I wouldn't smoke weed.  I'd  be happy getting to play a sport for a living.  That's just my two sense.

I know it's frustrating to me because they make so much money. More money than I'll make in my lifetime and athletes like Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon just throw it all away - not to mention the level of talent they have.

  6. It was on the StampedeBlue website.  He's been downgraded from day to day with his neck injury.

If he's going to miss time, the first five weeks of the season is the time to miss.  We're not exactly facing any HoF QBs during that time.

This is certainly not very good news either way though.

    Hoping for a speedy recovery!

  7. Yeah but most jobs only drug test right before they hire you. Then only again if you were to get hurt on the job or something. But yeah I do get your point. But like the Josh Gordon thing just kills me. I hate to see things like this happen.

My employer does random drug testing. I've been working there 7 years and been "randomly tested" about 9 times, including when hired. If I did fail a drug test for any sort of drug use, I'd be fired on the spot. I don't get a second chance like NFL players do.

I do agree that the NFL may need to loosen up their rules about marijuana use. But at the same time, rules are rules and every job has them. If someone chooses not to follow them, there are consequences.
