Great Job Colts! The Dolphins game was disappointing and the criticism was justified but the teams deserves a great applause and praise for todays game. An unexpected win against a SB team. Defense looked poor the first drives as Gore and the 49ers Offensive Line pushed them around but bounced back big times. I think it was the best Defensive game since years. Great coverage, nice pressure, loved it! They kept us in the game. Offense started on fire, cooled down a bit but were great at the end. OL was bad the last games but were more than solid today. Castonzo with one of his best games as a Colt, Thornton again with a promising performance. good run blocking, great game by all RB (Bradshaw, Richardson and Brown as well), Luck with a great game and a nice TD, made some good decision, liked the fast pass to Reggie (?) under pressure, sometimes still holds on to long. Colts are back on track!

yyeeaaaah baby! great drive!

WOW very impressive performance by the Defense today! Pressure is there, they learned from the Pryor experience, great coverage...

Decent half. Defense stepped up big after Gore and the 49ers Offensive Line pushed them around. Luck started hot, Offense cooled down a bit, some bad play calls if you ask me, Running Backs are looking good, pass protection is decent as well...
-
Defense is hot right now!

3rd and 16 -> screen -> fail. terrible play calling that failed already in the first two games...
-
man... why not mixing it up a bit? three consecutive running plays to obvious!
-
pathetic!

Khalil Mack is being talked about as a first rounder
really? well as I said it's difficult to predict in which round the players will go and a lot can happen between now and may

Why would we draft another guard?
We have Thornton and Thomas.
And behind them we have absolutely nothing... Thornton looks really good so far, Thomas looked decent too but is now on IR and we are lacking quality depth and it's not like that you can't upgrade Thomas. Thats why I picked a guy like Richardson who is versatile and also can play tackle a position we also have no quality depth. I know it's not sexy to pick an Offensive Line guy that early but seriously we need more quality there.

Rd2: Cyril Richardson OG (Baylor)
Rd3: Khalil Mack OLB (Buffalo)
Rd5: Shaq Evans WR (UCLA)
Rd6: Daryl Williams OT (Oklahoma)
Rd7: Caleb Lavey ILB (Oklahoma State)

I don't like this trade, Richardson is injury prone, main problem on Offense is still the inconsistent Offensive Line where we still lack quality depth too, Bradshaw and Brown looked good running and Bradshaw is a good blocker too...

NFL.com has us at 14 QB hits
oh really? I didn't find that stat, so it's even worse :-(

4. Cam Newton (Carolina) - 7 Sacks

Better trade for an OL-man than a RB

Thornton looked good so far, still a rookie but very promising but we lack quality depth. Unfortunately it means another season of Mike McGlynn starting at the guard position. Reitz and Linkenbach are good to fill in for a few plays but you don't wanna see them start either. Any interesting guys on other teams practice squad?
-
defense is... inconsistent! They had a very bad start, allowed two very easy TD for the Dolphins but then played pretty good in my eyes, some pressure on Tannehill, forced a turnover. The main problem in my eyes is that Offense and Defense can't get on the same page for a whole game. It's either Offense starts well and Defense slow or vice versa. Both sides have a good and a bad half but to win in the NFL especially against the good teams you have to play two good halfes on both sides of the ball. And thats what we are missing right now. It's not like we are playing like crap we are just to inconsistent and we make to many small mistakes.
-
Don't blame Brown, it's known he isn't the best blocker, so why did the coaches get him in instead of Bradshaw in an obvious pass situation where the Dolphins blitzes with most of their guys? A very stupid move by the coaches if you ask me.
-
And that safes Mike McGlynns starting spot for another year...
-
A Defense that gave up two very easy TD at the beginning didn't help either! The Colts problem is that right now they are playing inconsistent and can't get Offense and Defense on the same page.
-
Blaming Luck is just stupid! We have a young QB who is playing in his second year and he has now a 10 - 2 stat in games with less than 7 points, that carrys this franchise since his rookies season. Did he made some bad decisions? yes, maybe but he didn't cost us the game. Blame the Defense for their slow start and two very easy Dolphin TD, the OC for some very conservative calls in the game, the Offensive Line for their inconsistency or the refs for some questionable calls.
-
Well Brown isn't the best blocker, so why they brought in him in instead of Bradshaw in ovious pass situation is a coaching fail in my opinion.
-
They looked decent at times but if the opponents blitzes with too many guys they are lost.
-
play calling by pep was terrible some times. luck with some bad decisions but i don't blame him
-
terrible play calling by the colts
