  1. This season is going to be experienced a little differently for me, but that is a good thing. Usually i'll go see about 4 games at Lucas Oil and the rest I watch from a local BW3's with some friends. This year however, I've made it a personal goal to go see more games Away than at Home. So far, I have tickets for the following games :

SEA vs IND - Lucas Oil

CHI at WAS - FedEx Field (Visiting my brother for his b-day in VA that week. He's a Bears fan...I might have to wear a different shade of blue :( )

IND at TEN - LP Field

IND at CIN - Paul Brown Stadium

All in all...i'm way excited to go visit some other stadiums. I've never been to another NFL stadium besides RCA dome/Lucas Oil.

Does anyone else plan on seeing the Colts play in another venue this year?

Obviously KC for me, but we're making the trip to San Fran to catch that one too. Hoping someday to catch a game at Lucas Oil.

  2. He is a physical player and is the physical embodiment of building the monster. I said a few weeks ago that I think he will have a breakout year next year and be one of our leaders on defense ( lead by example). Apparently, he upped his game right after I predicted that.

Can you start predicting a win against baltimore?

  3. I'm most concerned with Hali and Houston on defense. I've had to endure many KC games this year with my old man. Their secondary looks absolutely lost out there. Dontari Poe consistently gets pushed around (can't believe I was wanting him to play for Indy last year). Charles is great but he only rushed for 10 yards against Oakland which means their O-line is struggling. As for their receivers, look for them to target Steve Breaston and Jonathan Baldwin but Quinn is still throwing the ball to them so there isn't a lot to worry about there. Basically shut down Charles and Hillis and we should have a good day. Oh and a break out day for Luck + a lot of Oklahoma Joes BBQ for me.

  4. I don't see him being any better or worse than Quinn or Cassell. With Bowe out they're going to have to rely heavily on Charles and Hillis. As for the passing game, they'll be targeting Breaston and Baldwin which is good. McCluster is quick but a strong wind will knock him over (and I think its supposed to be windy). Moeoki may pose a threat but up until this point Crennell has been absolutely clueless as to how to utilize what could be a very good weapon for the Chiefs, so I'm not losing any sleep over him. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing the Colts clinch their playoff birth in person.

  5. I've been pulling for this guy since he was drafted last year and have been wanting to see some more carries from him this year. With that said, after that fumble yesterday, do you think he still has a future with Indy or was that the final straw?

  6. I'm happy with our backs thus far. They've looked increasingly better each game. Even liking them plugging carter in on situational downs. Like many on here have said, fix the oline and then see what we have in the RB position.

  7. Yes!

I like how Mookie has been plugging up the holes but he is not really built to be a 3-4 NT, while Chapman was.

As long as he stays healthy which is a huge concern. He should pan out to be, at the very least, an average NT for our defense.

I didn't think Chapman had injury problems while at Bama did he? Just had the knee at the end of the season to take care of. I'm not sure, I didn't really follow Chapman during his time in college so I could very well be wrong. Either way, yeah, get healthy, stay healthy and plug up that middle.

  8. Yes its a long way away and unlike last year, I actually enjoy watching our colts play on sundays; win or lose, but what I'm wondering is where everyone stands as far as next years draft goes and free agency. Obviously Grigs is a huge player in the free agency field. So as fans what position(s) would you like to see addressed in free agency and which position(s) would you like to see addressed through the draft?

  9. If you can't think of anything positive from what we've seen this year, perhaps you should go and revisit the films from last year. I'm excited about Luck and Hilton and I'm very pleased from what I'm seeing from Freeman.

  10. Just got our tix for the Colts game in KC. Never been to a football game before and I think I'm more excited than my 12 year old son. They're on the visitor's side on the 40 yard line, 6 rows from the field. It'll be a cold mother but its going to be a blast. Now just need the boys to win.

  11. Every year I seem to follow the Colts more and more closely. I've been a fan for close to 20 years and maybe I just haven't been following closely enough but are the colts under Grigson's management doing more trading and signing than in the past 10 years combined. Don't get me wrong, I dig the non-stop effort to try to make the team better and love the direction we're going and like the the signing of jean-batiste.
