  1. The NFL is a serious business, and Trent doesn't have the stomach for that. Trent never gotten over the fact that he was a 1st round pick that got traded, in only his second year. Instead of using this as motivation to rejuvenate his career, he decided to cry about being traded in his interviews. He didn't help his case by doing the cha cha slide everytime he ran the ball. The Colts gave him the benefit of the doubt, but the man dosn't have what it takes. He's not taking accountability for his actions or his poor play whatsoever so peace.

  2. Couldn't had said it better myself. We had the worst team in the league 3 seasons ago, now look at us. One game away from the superbowl. Every season we advance further into the playoffs, and i hope the trend continues. With Andrew Luck the qb of the future, our future is looking bright.

  3. Why was anyone surprised that Peyton Manning, as great as he's been over the years, had four interceptions in the game at Cincinnati. Keep in mind that of the four interceptions he had, three of them came after the weather got bad. Peyton Manning has never been a good bad weather QB. His performances in New England in the playoffs shows that. Let's not forget that he wasn't that good a couple of years ago in the home playoff game against the Ravens in zero degree temperatures, he threw that lollipop INT that ended the game.

  4. If they called the PI/holding penalty against Hitchens, Detroit gets a first down and probably score a TD or field goal to extend their lead. If they call the hold on Leary it's 4th and 16 on the other side of the 50, they have to punt, and although Detroit may not score, will at least eat up some clock. When it comes down to it, the refs completely swung the momentum of that game is Dallas' favor. People can say the Lions shouldn't have given up a 14 point lead. Maybe if the refs got those calls right they wouldn't have.

  5. Wow, yeah, you're a casual fan at best.Particularly if you're that unaware if the Tuck Rule, or that the so-called Brady rule was first thought of after Carson Palmer's injury.

You don't know me, and you damn a sure don't know anything about me. I'm not gonna lose any sleep, because some creepy old dude on the internet called me a casual fan.

  6. You can be both qualified and a Rooney Rule interview.  That's how Mike Tomlin was hired.

The last time I checked Mike Tomlin was still a head coach in this league. You don't like the rule that's cool, I can understand that. I'm just tired of everytime there is a "Pep is a hc candidate" thread, someone wants to talk out the side of they mouth about the Rooney rule. It's getting old already.
