  1. Won't be #1 after this game with the game Kelce is having

Problem with the pass too. Revised getting caught on. Early in the game they left Kelce WIDE open on a post route but terrible miss by Alex Smith

Their defense gave up 300 yards over all in the first half & the defense as a whole looks like one hot mess. Chiefs get the ball to start the second half if I'm not mistaken. If the Patriots don't get their act together on both sides of the ball this is going to be a brutal loss. Chiefs fans are loud too.

  2. Sign big names, people will say you're improved without even seeing you play

Denver vs New England arms race in the offseason. All big names, both defenses still suck

New England has a problem stopping the run but they seem to be ok against the pass.

  3. We need balance. I don't want us to go to a more passing game. Bridgewater will be more successful if we have a good running game. I would like Peterson to serve his suspension (in addition to this paid leave/suspension) and come back and play for us. Everyone makes mistakes, some worse than others. If he pays his dues and is able to play again, I would like him to play and retire with the Vikings.

There will be a lot of people unhappy either way but chances are he has seen the field in a Vikes uniform for the last time. I could be wrong.

  4.  I just want to say that instead of heaping all the love on one guy like Luck the whole team deserves credit for this win. The best Luck play was the one to T.Y. on the first scoring drive. It was the bang bang play following the fumble with one defender on Hilton & another guy coming across in vain which was followed by the onside kick. That play set the tone for the whole game.

  5. "Among corners who have played at least 50% of their team's snaps(aka starters for those with lesser intelligence):

    Passer rating against: #1

    Yards/coverage snap: #3

    Coverage snaps/reception: #5

    Completion percentage against: #3 (tied)

    Yards/completion against: #16, at 8.9 yards/completion against (Revis is #43 at 12.9, Sherman is #44 at 13.2, Kyle Fuller is #62 at 16.5)"

All non-biased facts. That puts him with the best of the best. Your turn.

Some wont let facts get in the way of a good argument.

  6. Maybe it's a generational thing......

But I just don't understand the need to have an MVP discussion after 3 weeks?!?

The leaders/front runners for the award are going to change several times before December when things get serious and we separate the contenders from the pretenders.....

But......   don't let me stop the fun....   I must be approaching my old fuddy-duddy years!        :slaphead:

It is always a fun discussion & you want to give credit to those who are the cream of the crop. Of course with the MVP award this will be an ongoing discussion in which things will change each week as we go on. Players will have their ups & downs. It's football talk man.

  7. If we are talking about a true MVP I'd go with JJ Watt which would make QwizBoy happy. The man is the Houston Texans & is pretty damn good. If you took him away they would be in t-r-o-u-b-l-e. Luck is putting up big numbers too.

  8. yoga pants/leggings

But even then they banned the girls at my school from wearing those or at least tried to ban them cause they're "distractions" to us guys

    haha

Yoga pants I understand because those things are not made to be worn out & there are some people who wear them that have no business doing so. No offense to yoga fans. By the way I was once told to go to the office for my love of makeup was deemed a distraction to students. I told the adviser that if people would do their work instead of focusing on me they would be fine. He didn't like it.

  9. 'Hard Knocks' was another good one

Barbara Stanwick was awesome in Roustabout...

Elvis along with Barbra Eden in Flaming Star was the only movie Elvis really got to show his chops while fighting & later dying in it which lead to Andy Warhol to print a picture of him. I might break it out as a avatar.

  10. I still liked some of the 'formula' films

Blue Hawaii and GI Blues...They're good for me..I watch they're whenever they're on..

The later ones got max silly...but the songs were fun

I remember something called 'Poison Ivy League' from Roustabout..

    ...very funny

Poison ivy league beats the Saints too.
