The entire set of replacement officials needs to be gone. Not their fault but this is just stupid.
I honestly don't know how the league can sit here and watch this when the announcers calling the game are ripping the officials

Luck is gonna make some mistakes, but that's ok, he's a rookie. I Don't know what happened today on the pick, but it wasn't good. What I did like seeing is how mad he was about it, I think Andrew is a perfectionist, just like a certain someone else was.
I can't wait till they take the training wheels off Andrew and let him loose

although OLB Robert Mathis vowed Freeney would be back Sunday against Minnesota. It’s just one player talking, but Mathis couldn’t have sounded more convinced about his teammate.

The decision was for the long term, not the short term. We all have this utopia of having the cake and eating it too, which would mean draft Luck at No.1 and let him learn under Peyton and then let Peyton go after 2 or 3 years.
To me, that would have only hurt both QBs, for different reasons. Right decision for the Colts all the way!!!
Now, if the Colts' O-line would protect Luck like Denver's did for the most part, we will get better!!! Rome was never built in a day and Peyton did not become the QB he is now in one year, so let us never forget that!!!
Both Luck and Peyton are in situations where they are both comfortable.

Good deal. I feel better, my drive will only be 5 hrs. I hope my good luck continues, Colts are 8 wins and only 1 loss in games that I've attended.

Why does "rolling the money" matter? If Irsay wants to have the highest payroll in football next yr and pay Freeney 14 million this year he'll do it. Done it before

Freeney is being paid 14 million this season, it's the last year of his deal. Who cares??? What free agent out there now are you going to get? If he does well this season, maybe you look at giving him a new deal, if he doesn't you could trade him by week 9, or he just leaves in the offseason as a free agent.
I fail to see why this is even an issue, just seems like you harping on something that really does not matter. We will have a ton of cap space next year to persue guys who fit this system, time will tell if Freeney does as well.

I for one is confused on how Josh Gordy made the final 53 man roster. He looked awful in pre season.
Because they saw something they liked when he was in St. Louis and wernt gonna get rid of someone they just traded for
