I think that Harbaugh was a great success. In a year or two, 98% of 49ers brass and fans will agree. There is always a margin of error...
-
"...and D.Rhodes was solid too".
I didn't read through the whole thread, but I'm glad that Rhodes is getting some credit for '06. He and AV absolutely CARRIED the Colts to victory in the Baltimore playoff game. Say what you will about him or that team as a whole, but Rhodes has never gotten enough credit on this or other forums.

One and done. Dreadful.

Duck and cover. Duck.........and Cover.

Richardson wasn't worth a first round pick, but he isn't completely worthless. He does provide a bit of help in blocking and picking up a yard or so when asked...most of the time...and he can catch a bit. However, he is BAD as an NFL player. He's just one of Grigson's mistakes.
-
Mathis is getting old in NFL terms, and he's coming off an injury and PED suspension. He most likely won't be the same caliber of player that he was. The Colts have to plan/draft for the future. Hopefully, they have someone on the staff that can do that in regards to quality O-line and D-line players...but this has yet to be seen.
-
Under. The management of the offensive line has been poor, but 5.5 is ridiculous. Offensive line management has been more than poor...for three years running...but that's another topic.
-
A man doesn't wear another man's name/number on his back. NONE.
-
Out of the league, at home, sitting on his couch right now, he's still better than Gordy.
-
Funny how one plays in the NFL the other former police informant given chance after chance now out of a job and probably headed for the penal league. I was surprised they kept him around after he was with Rodgers when he got his.
Purifoy was undrafted out of the University of Florida in part because of a history of off-field character flags, including a narcotics arrest in 2013 and another reported drug-related run-in with police earlier this year that did not result in charges when Purifoy agreed to cooperate with a police investigation ie turned informant. Low character guys you can have them.
-
Indeed. I might be able to hit some guys, but don't have the speed to play corner though.
As long as you have the ability to hurt Jackson's knee, as Gordy did, you'd be fine. Just try to do it on your first play...so you don't get winded.

I think the Trent question has been answered at this point. Boom isn't a "world-beater" or anything, but as long as he can hold on to the ball, he's better than Trent. Bradshaw is miles ahead of both but, sadly, can't stay healthy.
-
and tell Skip Bayless...Andrew has thrown just 11 interceptions..in almost 500 attempts
MVP numbers
(but lets be honest, JJ Watt's going to get it)
I still don't understand why anyone cares about what Skip Bayless has to say about...anything. He's a 50+ year old man called "Skip" for goodness sake! A professional troll.
-
That is not saying much, hehehe.
No, but he is still better than Gordy. Gordy was awful today. For all I know, you may be better than Gordy.
-
Purifoy would have been handy to have around today. He's better than Gordy.
-
You have two choices:
A. Trent Richardson remains on the Colts roster.
B. You find $2 on the ground.
Which one do you pick?
A
Trent is worth more than a 2 litre of Coke. We gotta have somebody back there. Bradshaw is a beast, but he can't stay healthy. Ballard shows flashes, but he can't stay healthy either. Boom could be okay, and I'd take him ahead of Trent right now...but until the oline gets settled/BETTER...it doesn't really matter. Trent is S L O W and lacks vision/instinct...but he's better than $2.

Yup if someone gonna trash talk you, your gonna shut them up with your play. Respect to the Gronk. When someone is trash talking to me, I either cross them over and go for the 3 or go blow pass them for the dunk.
Honestly, I thought it was pretty funny. SHUT UP, DUMMY! lol
-
Sergio was running his mouth like Reggie Miller all game (without 1/10 of the talent) and Gronk shut him up. Gronk is a * to be sure, but I don't blame him for doing it. If the shoe was on the other foot and he played for us, we'd be cheering him on. Non-story.

he was really bad with his anti-colts bias back in his early broadcasting days. i've also noticed that he actually hates the steelers more than the colts
as he's moved higher in his career, he's wisely become much more neutral. that doesn't mean i don't remember his true colors & despise his nasally voice
he once was an early form of a modern day skip bayless in a way
You must be getting old, too. I honestly thought it was a known fact that Collinsworth is a long-time Colts hater. It makes sense that he'd hate the Steelers, but the Colts were awful back then...for years and years. It used to strike me as odd. Now I just try to tune him out. He is what he is...and that is a 'bag.
Bayless should never be mentioned. Anywhere. He is simply a professional troll. Every internet troll's dream = Skip Bayless. I have never watched any show he has been on and, frankly, don't understand why anyone would. ESPN loses more credibility by giving that knob a paycheck.
-
Personally, I think Collinsworth is fine as an announcer and analyst. Last night, he purposely ignored the obvious no calls benefitting the Patriots. Its really curious how he could openly justify such things on national TV.
Collinsworth was reported to have a long hatred for the Colts after they moved from Baltimore, when he was a Bengal. Don't know if its true..or what the beef could possibly be.
But in the last few years, I think he has been quite objective but last night was a head scratcher for sure.
I'm glad you had this covered earlier in this thread. Chris Collinsworth, for some reason, has always hated the Colts. I knew this when I was ten years old and collecting football cards. I thought this was a well-known fact among Colts fans. He is NEVER objective...in any way...when he can bash the Colts.
-
I'd prefer that we cut all ties to the Baltimore Colts and only celebrate the post-move history of the INDIANAPOLIS Colts. I have nothing against Baltimore or it's fans, it just strikes me as hypocritical that they carry on a hatred for my team after they stole the Browns in much the same way.
The Wire is one of the best shows of all time. ALL TIME!

Journalist Skip Bayless is saying that Andrew Luck is being "coronated" as a quarterback. Do you like Bayless, and will the Colts prove Bayless wrong in the future?
"Jounalist" Bayless...LOL! As has been mentioned, Skip is a professional troll. I'm amazed anyone watches that show. It would be like paying money to read the /b/ board on 4chan.

Brady restructures contract - saves Pats $24 Mil in cash flow

It seems very difficult for people to believe this, and I don't know why. Giselle makes and has made more money per year than Tom does...for a few years now. Brady is beyond worrying...at all...about making more money. He and his family are set for life...perhaps generations if it is handled correctly. He needs to continue to have weapons and protection around him in his last NFL years. He's willing to take a pay cut in order to have that. He'll then retire and live a fairytale life that we peons can't even dream of.
