It’s earlier in the thread. Way too much Sneed stuff has happened since for me to remember.  Also, I’ve never been high on re-signing Blackmon.  I’ve said always be ware of players who have a major career year way outside their norm in a contract year and the injuries really concern me.  Not sure who I want there and I wouldn’t be mad if they ultimately brought Blackmon back but I am fine with moving on from him too.

If we could get Simmons at S and not break the bank he has 30 career interceptions I believe and our defense wanting to create turnovers feels like a great fit…from someone who knows nothing else about him admittedly.

You're entitled to any view you like.  I’m fine if we disagree.   But, please feel free to call me NCF, or Mike or Michael, whichever you prefer.   But “sir” is too polite, too formal.   Hope that helps.

“Sir” is a sign of respect for me and you not knowing each other. Hope that helps. I will refrain from doing so in the future Michael and the beautiful thing about being humans is we won’t always agree on everything.

That terrible pass rush also finished 4th or 5th in the NFL with 51 sacks.    And you make it sound like it’s only the Colts whose outside rushers get help from the inside push.   That happens on many teams.

Yes sir I know the stats. Would also seem to help out our mostly freshman cornerback room that most believe we need more help at. It doesn’t seem like clowney may be the best teammate and chase young doesn’t seem to be the answer either but….9.5 sacks seeing one on one all year is just not good. Just a couple cents of mine.

  4. Id sure like to see us bring in a pass rusher. Haven’t seen much talk about it but 9.5 sacks being the leader in the clubhouse with buck and Grover on the inside feels almost criminal. How many of those are a result of buck and Grover shoving lineman back in the qbs face and being clean up sacks? I’d have to bet 2-3 which would put our leader on the outside at 6.5 or 7.5. That’s what you call terrible.

Defense good for 3+ quarters....same as last year!

WR's outside of Pittman can't seem to get open.

OL is a C- at best.

Special teams let Agnew steal 50+ yards on a punt return that should have been on the 5!

AR was pretty good, that pick killed us though!

I'm 66 and can run better than Deon Jackson and I won't fumble!

A little too aggressive on going for 4th down and passing up FG that hurt but better than Reich for sure.

Andrew Luck "quit", he didn't retire...sorry I digress.

    Go Colts!!!

When our defense can actually rest on the sidelines before heading right back out there over and over again they are a very good defense. They showed them on the sidelines before the last touchdown the jags scored and they were all exhausted. Who can blame them, they were out there the whole 2nd half it felt like.

I thought he looked like easily the 3rd best LB on the team. Slow to react and mostly doing cleanup tackles. Franklin and Speed were flying around out there. Hopefully it does keep improving.

I’ve thought he’s looked extremely slow for years now. His instincts have to carry him but he creates turnovers better than most.

I think Steichen kept going for it on 4th down because he was confused.  He thought people would get a free Big Mac for every field goal we didn't make.

When we’re not going to score a bunch of points we gotta take them where we can. Just an opinion

I heard Colin Cowherd say he thinks we are the best fit for him next year if he doesn’t re-sign with NE. Creative coach, great organisation, excellent young O-line.  Personally, I think he’ll re-sign with NE, just putting that out there.

Thinking objectively about this here. Brady is at least top 2 in GOAT status. His football IQ is off the charts and his drive and leadership is close to being unrivalled. Seeing that we have his former understudy and good friend JB in the QB room currently, would he want to sign here?

At #13 I think we miss out on Burrow, Tua & Herbert. If we were to not pickup a QB early, would you support signing Brady to mentor JB for another year and try again next year at a QB of the future?

Well to put it in simple terms for those thinking with their hearts and not their heads....Brady is 10 times better than Jacoby so heck yes. See I like to see the team get better so it's a pretty simple no brainer.

  9. I am 99% sure there are some posters who will need new keyboards due to wear and tear before the combine even starts this year. That's impressive. Kill em with kindness is a lesson not learned by all. We can be better and agree to disagree sometimes!

You can get a beer during extra points once again.  With 2019 Vinny, those were the most tension filled moments of the game.

It was awkward to feel the tension in the air watching vinny kick any field goal or extra point at the games I attended. That shouldnt be so stressful.

They say it is a sell out every week so the Colts aren't losing money but yet it looks like 10,000 seats are empty.

There were entire rows that were empty next to me. Multiple rows. I was in 453 behind the end zone. Didnt think the seats were that bad to be empty....
