Explain how an overthrown ball is caught.  By my knowledge of the English language , overthrown means beyond the reach of the intended receiver. So yeah... really. Example .. if the ss "overthrew " the first baseman , you are saying he can catch the ball ?

An overthrown ball can still be caught because a WR would have to dive for it just to catch it. That is an overthrown ball, just like an underthrown ball, which is still catchable. QB is supposed to drop it in his hands in stride usually, but sometimes it's overthrown, and the WR has to do extra work just to catch the ball, like diving for it or even some one-handed catches I've seen where they could only reach with that one hand.

This was honestly an underthrow by AR.  Looks to be some sort of drill.

actually liked the defense Brents played up until a few moments before the catch.  He was too focused on trying to catch up and didn’t turn his head around until it was too late.  Should’ve turned his around and used his length and wingspan to either swat the ball or make the catch difficult.  But hey, this is why we have OTAs and Training camp

Good to see AD putting that burner speed to use.  If AR had put some more air under it he would’ve burned brents

I agree; he had to turn around to catch the ball. It was still a good ball, but if the DB was aware of the ball and turned his head, it would have been broken up. All deep throws aren't always on point, so I'm glad AD is good enough to catch that ball with the DB right there.

  3. They are so expensive now that it's crazy. Even for nosebleed tickets, they are almost 200. I remember I went one year, and there were a lot of open seats in the next section closer, so my brother and I moved up after the first quarter. Does anyone know when they start checking your tickets when you enter the sections of your seats? Might just start buying the cheapest tickets and just move up when the games start to get better seats lol

I would out the over/under for the Colts at 10.5. You would think winning 5 games in a row probably wouldn't be possible is why, so they could slip up and lose 1 of those last 4 and finish 10-7. Those last 5 games are weak sauce though, the schedule makers did us a favor to be able to finish the season strong. If we can beat Houston on opening day, that will set the tone for the rest of the season.

Weak sauce, but remember, we are the Colts and lost to the Falcons last year when they were weak sauce! I expect to lose to a team like that this year.

Looks like the games with ? are division games.

GB is a very good team and have a very good QB. Why would you want to play in Houston week 1.

GB over-achieved last year and won't be as good, I personally think. Texans are not as good as everyone thinks. We should have swept them last year if it wasn't for a catchable pass that was dropped. The only thing that would scare me about Texans week 1 is we lose every week 1. If it was week 2, almost all Colts fans would feel a lot more positive about it.
