It takes two to get a deal done.
This is about "off-set" language.... the ability to "double-dip" if a player gets cut before his 4-years are up. Double dip would mean the player would be getting paid by the team that drafts him (Colts) and by the team that then signs him....
Most teams do not allow that and agents eventually give in...
For some reason the agents for Smith and Anderson want the double-dip language included in their deals.
This is not a Grigson problem..... this is an agent problem.
