  1. listening to rodney harrison talk about brady and the patriots greatness in front of dungy :tvhammer:

Rodney Harrison has no business being a commentator. I thought they were supposed to be unbiased? He is a complete tool to Dungy about EVERYTHING. The man has no respect and no class whatsoever.

Worse than being 0-6? Having to listen to the vile spew that comes out of Rodney Harrison's mouth every Sunday night unless it involves the Patriots.

  2. Right, how did he do his first season? Took us to a Superbowl

With somebody else's players, schemes, and coaches. All he had to do was stand there and stare at the field to go to the Superbowl. Incidentally, that's all he's done since he's taken over and you can plainly see where that's got us no?

  3. It looked to me that he was spun awkwardly as he was tackled and didn’t tuck the ball to his body, so his arm kind of got flung out from the momentum and …….pop. Out comes the ball. I really don’t think he was doing anything stupid like trying to lateral it.

Being spun awkardly or not, his arms were moving like he was trying to do something extra. Besides...I have NEVER seen anyone switch the ball in between their hands while in the middle of being tackled. That by itself is pure absurdity.

  4. I have to agree with #9.Go ahead and go,give more true fans a chance to attend the games.

So because I can't afford to go to games this year makes me a bandwagon fan? If not for my current situation I would be at every game no matter if we were 0-16 or 16-0. I actually had to back out of the season tickets that I went in on half with my little brother. I watch every game on TV...all the way through...win or lose. What is it with people who think you have to go to every single game to be a "real" fan?

  5. From what I saw it was a perfectly legal hit. As someone who has played football from pee-wee level through college I've been the lucky recipient of a few of those...as well as given some :heh: If Edds had actually seen that one coming it wouldn't have been near as bad. It's always the one's you never see that get you launched off your feet. Like the above poster's have said...Head on a swivel!!

  6. I think that was just him trying to do too much, he should know that he cant do that in the open field like that..... it was like ok im excited the defense got a 3 and out and then all of a sudden a bengal is running for a TD

It almost seemed like he was going to lateral the ball. Why would you even consider that...If I'm not mistaken there were still a couple minutes left in the 4th? It's not like it was the last play of the game. Situational awareness and mental discipline have been lacking this year to say the least.

  7. This game really frustrated me, what was garcon doing lol... i mean you cant do nothing but laugh these days because its almost like the colts are not suppose to win this season.... at least the colts took lacey out of the game.

The best line I heard from the announcers was in the third quarter. "Looks like Coach Caldwell has had enough. Lacey has been benched."

I chuckled. But deep down it made me sad because it took 5 and a half games for the coaches to realize how terrible he is.

  8. I'm still trying to figure out exactly Garcon was doing with that ball when he was going down. Switching hands in the middle of a tackle...looking like he was going to try to lateral the ball...or try to stretch to get the first down which was still 5 yards away? I mean, C'MON!! That one boneheaded move lost the game for us. That game was in the Colts hands to win. They had every opportunity to take it in the 4th quarter, but...once again...completely blew it.

  9. Sorry to say but the only scheme change that needs to be made is benching Lacey.

Best line I heard from the announcers the whole game was in the third quarter. "Coach Caldwell has had enough. Looks like Lacey has been benched."

  10. quit going to games, quit buying colts gear, hit them in the pocketbook then we will get someone's attention CALDWELL SUCKS worst coach in the league he was horrible at wake forrest he was horrible when manning played and he is horrible now and if they want to losers like jacob lacey on the field then we shouldnt spend our hard earned money to watch this crap GET A CLUE POLIAN/IRSAY whoever is making decisions

The only thing those actions will accomplish will be the Colts will think they are not wanted here in Indianapolis and will be looking to move somewhere else, where the fans will still support them even through a pretty rough season. But hey whatever floats your boat...

I will support the Colts no matter what and I have always have...but that doesn't mean I always have to like it. I don't support our coaches at all in the slightest way, but I will always support the COLTS because in the end, all I am is just a fan. Who else do I have to root for around here?

  11. This season is an eye opener to just how badly Manning carries the entire team. . .he is surrounded by poor talent on both sides of the ball. Poor drafting doesn't help with a sudden string of first round busts (Gonzo, Ugoh, Brown, Hughes).

The constant injuries don't help either. It doesn't do us any good when we have to pull guys off the practice squad and out of the stands to put together a full roster only 5 games into the season.

  12. Were pretty darn good with 18 out there. He is Big enough to hold up the small guys.......;^)

We've seen that since he got here in Indy...he's had the whole organization on his back the entire time. Surprised it wasn't back surgery that kept him out this season.

  13. You do know we didn't play much Tampa 2 today right? They were burning our corners in man coverage because we weren't in the Tampa 2 because the linebackers were playing up. This goes on the players. They weren't tackling, couldn't cover people, were getting blown off the ball, and dropping passes.

The Coaches did adjust why do you think we tried three different corners toady? All of them got burned. The problem is Lacey is honestly our second best corner and that isn't a good thing.

The coaches made the adjustments the fans were screaming for after Monday night. What happened? They got burned worse. Maybe that's why Coyer stayed in the base Tampa-2 on Monday because he was right our young guys just aren't good enough to play man on the outside. The problem is a lack of talent on defense not the coaching. Just because they make adjustments and they don't work doesn't mean they aren't making adjustments and trying different things. The Colts tried different things today we just didn't have good enough players or they at least weren't making plays.

That goes on offense too where we called good plays only to see guys like Clark dropping key passes that killed drives. If he catches those very catchable passes then those drives stay alive and we stay on the field much longer in the second half.

The players didn't make plays today. That goes on them not on the coaching. Changing the coaches isn't going to make the players better.

Trying to defend this coaching staff is laughable at best. So it took them 4+ games to FINALLY realize "Hey, maybe we should try something else?" Hilarious... And you also want to place the blame on the corners for not playing well in man coverage? Any competent coordinator/coach would realize he doesn't have the talent at CB to play straight up man coverage and would have maybe played a short to mid zone with some safety help over the top? Just maybe? Calling up man coverage when you can see that you corners are getting lit up is still a coaching fail, no matter how you try and pretty it up. Mod Edit

    No personal shots please

  14. I agree that our coaches are sub-par at best. Unfortunately, nothing will change.

I do think Painter has potential under the right system. It's not the Polian system.

+1 to you...Nothing will change...just like our coaches don't make any adjustments to the terrible schemes that let other teams march up and down the field on us. Like in the second half, you know that KC went into the locker room at half and adjusted what they were doing on offense. We come out with the same terrible tampa 2 and when KC starts marching on us, do we adjust? The end result speaks for itself. We have good talent on defense but they are stuck in a complete FAIL scheme.

  15. Another embarrassing performance by Caldwell, Coyer and Chritensen(2nd half).

Exactly...how many games has it been now where we are consistently burnt over the middle of the field because our tampa 2 MLB is 20 yards back in the secondary? Competent coaches and coordinators would have at least made a few adjustments for that problem over the last 5 games. Our coaches don't even know the meaning of the word adjustment.
