Tom "don't call me shady" Brady, and here is the cover shot. Kidding.

I agree with dynasty13. The chance to say goodbye will come in due time when Peyton decides to walk away from the game once and for all. If anything we can take solace in the fact that we had the opportunity to sit down and watch one of, if not the best quarterbacks to ever play the game of football for 14 years... It happens to the best of them.
-
The interesting thing is that Manning's exit comes after 14 years here in Indy... Montana played in San Francisco for about the same amount of time and much like Steve Young, Andrew luck (presumably) is going to have a lot on his shoulders. I wish him all the best because he is going to need it.

A class act as usual. It was hard not to get chocked up after watching that, but I'm still kind of in shock.

Which is something we need to keep in mind. We don't really see where the ball lands or if someone catches it. I mean I agree 100% it's Manning and on the one throw he got some real distance on it but I am not going to say fork over the 28 million because of this video. It's better than what we had which was nothing but it's not exactly what I would good video work by the people who shot it.
With that said in no way does the video show that he was missing the throws either so don't assume I am saying that.
Peyton looks pretty good in the video, and if you won't say it I will... Pay the man.

This whole story keeps getting more interesting with each passing day. It is like a train wreck waiting to happen, or has it already?!? I'm not sure what to think about it anymore. So I will try not to until I hear some real tangible information from someone other than "sources". Blah.

If you do decided to leave that is your prerogative... I wish you all the best, depending on which team you actually end up following next.
Well, I've been reading this thread for 27 minutes. Can someone please convince me why we should burn this thread?
Do it.

Madonna was a horrible choice which was proven when she decided to lip sync. Elton John was right when he said something along the lines of "lip sync good," she did just that. Prince on the other hand was great.

I actually feel sorry for any city that hosts the Super Bowl after us... Good luck trying to top it. I'm so proud of this city, and the fact that things went off without a hitch.
-
This is darn good news for Peyton and the team... Now it's time to cut that check. Things have just gotten a little more interesting around here.
-
Laces out. Dang it, somehow this is all Dan Marino's fault too.
-
No Dungy, been there done that and got the championship. I would like to see Bill Cowher, but don't see him returning. Billick would be a good second choice.
-
If Reggie McKenzie is the man that would be absolutely amazing.
-
As Darth Vader said noooooooooooo. He beats Caldwell, but there are better choices out there.
-
Bring him in and sign him. It couldn't hurt at this point. Kidding. He is certainly worthy of such a honor.

A happy thought... we won't lose in Week 11. :cute:
Either way Painter will still find a way to throw a pick, or two.
-
isn't that alot to hope for?
Yes.

It
That should be a tough test for the D...
Assuming the defense actually shows up.
-
I'm sad now.
-
I'm all for McAfee the guys is one of the few bright spots on this team.
-
If there was any lower grade than an F, the entire offense would get it.
An I for incomplete.
-
I'm not sure what to think at this point. Blaaaaaah!!!!
-
ok we get the ball back with 6 minutes... that means 2 possesions, let's see what Danny boy's got
Oh, Danny boy. I hear the pipes are calling for you too.

The Jags should give Painter the game ball.
Happy Peyton Memories

Obviously the 2006 AFCCG against the patriots and eventual Super Bowl were two of the biggest memories, but one game that will always stand out to me is the Monday night game against Tampa Bay. I remember sitting there watching it with my dad when most had turned their tv's off. Hey, it was 35-14 at one point...
