  1. We are such a fragile team this year more than I've ever seen. I predicted us having many injury problems due to our aging players and those who were known to be injury prone already. I think I predicted us going 8-8 or 9-7 before the season started. Good chance we can have more wins than that but who knows.

Um aren't most of our people on IR more towards the young end? So you were right but not who you thought would be the issues.

  2. The Indianapolis Colts today elevated outside linebacker Daniel Adongo and tackle Xavier Nixon from the practice squad to the active roster and agreed to terms with fullback Robert Hughes and defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton, who will be signed to the practice squad. The team also placed inside linebacker Mario Harvey and running back Daniel "Boom" Herron on Injured Reserve.

WOW didn't think Andongo was gonna be active this year. Well with all these injuries at least a lot of our players that need more playing time are going to get it.

  3. Kevin Bowen @KBowenColts 2m

Pagano not going to delve into how the receiver reps will be split up moving forward

    1. Pagano says Robert Mathis and him talk about what happened in the @Colts 2006 run. "Someone is going to get hot so why not us?"

    Kevin Bowen @KBowenColts 3m

Pagano says the biggest concern right now is protecting Andrew Luck. "That's never going to change."

    Craig Kelley @CraigKColts 20m

Pagano on if still committed to DHB: We're going to do what's best to win moving forward.

    1. Kevin Bowen @KBowenColts 2m
    2. Pagano on Donald Brown: "The guy is just a great pro. He's reliable, accountable."
    3.

    1. Chuck Pagano says Boom Herron has a pec injury. MRI showed he tore his pec and he will go on IR.

  4. DHB should be cut this week. Would we have the cap space to sign someone off the street for the rest of the season to help us? Cutting DHB wouldn't be a horrible decision since well be letting in walk away at the end of the season anyways. I don't want Randy Moss, Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson but there must be someone out there who can give us a solid 50-75 yards a game. Im still hoping for Rogers to get a legitimate shot but Im thinking it wouldn't hurt to get someone as insurance. We don't want to be one and done in the playoffs! Didn't we work out Ramses Barden? Should try to work out a few more guys this week I think.

Yea I saw that a couple weeks back that we had worked him out. Not promising that nothing came of it though. Maybe he still has injury issues? I am not sure what the deal is but apparently the Colts didn't like what they saw.

  5. da rick rogers should play over dhb.......offense needs to improve to win this game,,,,,,,

    Kevin Bowen @KBowenColts 1h

The WR breakdown was: T.Y. Hilton-53 snaps, DHB-46 snaps, LaVon Brazill-40 snaps, and Da'Rick Rogers-13 snaps. Total of 65 offensive snaps

This needs to change big time the next game. Probably Hilton with like 55, Brazill with like 45 and Rogers with 40. Basically bench DHB and move Brazill into his snaps and Rogers into what Brazills were last game.

  6. I actually agree with everything you said.  I though you meant plug TRich in as Havili and go.  We need to get TRich and Brown on the field together, and try and confuse the defense.  Line TRich at WR and run sweeps, a couple of LSU style back pitches.  Shake it up.  Oh and another thing bench DHB.  (off subject but I feel the need to say it in every thread today)

I agree with what you say. Especially the part about saying bench DHB in every thread. Benching DHB can just not be said enough.

  7. I think Rainey looked very comfortable returning the ball. Although there was one muff he seems to be confident in that role. I personally would like to see him get some carries as well, but maybe I'm looking too far into the future.

I liked Rained as our returner as well. IMO 1 of his best plays Sun may have been when he got the Punt before it went out of bounds at like the 5 yard line and then returned to get it back up the field. It was risky to catch the punt but when he did he was smart and ran it up the sideline and got out of bounds and it was effective to keep us from being pinned so deep.

  8. DaRick was targeted on one play and he drew a PA call when he beat the defender a ways downfield. Think he and Brazil need to be the main guys on the field with TY at this point.

Rogers is more of a complete reciever in terms of his raw talent and physical tools.

Agreed, those are who should be our top 3 WRs. Also DHB should be benched and Whalen should be brought back up to be our WR4 because although he is nothing special he has caught more balls than DHB and for sure has made more important plays.

  9. After seeing Pagano's post game speech I am hoping that more roster and depth chart changes are coming this week. I want to see Rogers in there instead of DHB. I thought Brazill did a little better this week than last week and will get better. I want to see Hilton, Brazill and Rogers as our 3 WRs. I would like to see the Colts bring Whalen back up from the practice squad as our 4th WR and bench DHB.  I would like to see see Holmes or Mcglynn or anyone else at center besides Satele. I am so sick of his head bob and constantly missing blocks or blocking the wrong guy or not blocking well enough to keep his guy away from Luck. Link can stay at G or Reitz if they want to give him a shot again. Rainey looked good as a KR and PR. Not perfect but he is just a little rusty. Obviously if Toler comes back this week that will help out the Colts a lot too. I also want to see Mcnary out there more with the defense I saw multiple plays where he had pressure on the QB and I think with some more time he can help with the pass rush and maybe get some sacks. I think the changes Pagano made last week were a good start but he still needs to make a few more this week as there are still people on this team that are not doing their job at all, not even close. I hope Pagano is ready to make some more smart changes and that it wasn't just a one time thing last week. He held some people accountable like they should be and there are still more that need to be addressed to help patch up some of our weak areas on this team. If we want to have any kind of shot of doing anything at all in the playoffs we need more changes.

  10. haha I almost died reading your questions. The walmart event started at 6 and I went there at 4 to get my bracelet to reserved the t.v. Once you have a bracelet, you are guaranteed a t.v until 2 hours after the event time. So nope i didn't get trampled or anything. I just got in line(the line is pretty darn long but I was in the middle and it went kind of fast) and grab my t.v. Of course people look at my since I was carrying the t.v with my hands instead of using a cart like other people lol. I'm sure noone would have knock me out. I'm a pretty big guy since I played college football as a linebacker.

LOL ok yea I thiink being a former linebacker that you would be safe on black friday. Well I dunno its pretty crazy i'm sure they would at least think twice before trying to knock you out and take your tv.

  11. I have had Rainstorm returning kicks for me on Madden. He does much better than Reed in fake football, and I don't see how he could be any worse in real football...

I have been using him in Madden as well. Last game I played against the Titans on All Madden I returned 2 kicks the whole game. On both kicks I was able to use his speed and agility to make it to the 50 yard line. Hope he is half that good on Sun.

  12. Confirmed by Chuck Pagano

@KBowenColts: Pagano said Chris Rainey will return kicks.

@KBowenColts: Pagano on Sunday: "We've got a chance to seal the division, put a nail in the coffin, however you want to put it."

    Updated injury report as well:

@KBowenColts: Chuck Pagano says Kavell Conner will be OUT. Greg Toler OUT as well.

@KBowenColts: Pagano on Toler: "He's real close. I'd be shocked if he wasn't back next week."

@KBowenColts: Pagano says Sergio Brown and Josh Gordy are questionable. Everyone else probable on the injury report.

So, another week of Cassius Vaughn at the #2 CB

Good to hear about Rainey. Hopefully good to hear about Toler I am starting to worry if he will make it back this year at all. Don't like not having Conner as the backup so that 1 is not good. Maybe Cassius Vaghn will be AFC defensive player of the week this week like he was last year....

  13. Colts LCB Greg Toler (groin) has been ruled out for Week 13.

The Colts also ruled out ILB Kavell Conner, though RCB Vontae Davis (groin) is listed as probable. Indy's defense does not pose a difficult Week 13 matchup for Ryan Fitzpatrick, who's been on fire over his last two games.

Not surprising but still disappointing. Looks like another day of watching Vaghn not watch the ball.

  14. We have the player's to have a "decent" offensive line. That's the ONLY part I blame the coaches is that they won't start Mike McGlynn at C, bench Samson Satele, & put Reitz or Link at G

That's the line we beat San Francisco with. Excuse me, we didn't beat San Francisco........ we DOMINATED their front 7. There's not many teams in this NFL that can say they dominated the San Francisco front 7 consisting of Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis, Navarro Bowman, Justin Smith, & Ahmad Brooks

Change the personnel on the field until we can make the right changes in the off-season

OK in that I totally agree it worked great in that game and I really don't understand why you wouldn't at least try something again if it worked so well the 1st time. They may come out flat that could have just been a fluke but how will anyone ever know if we don't try it again? It just baffles me.

  15. Our slow starts are on execution. Lack of execution. Trent Richardson being hit in the backfield, Andrew Luck forced to scramble, WR's getting no separation.

This is the same scheme, coaches, & mentality that beat Seattle, Denver, & San Francisco

All the coaches can do is call the plays, not execute them.

So in summary, I blame the players

Not saying that you are wriong but of the 3 issues you listed 2 of them could possibly be traced back to Pagano/Grigson not having/fielding a good enough o-line to protect Luck or to make some better holes for Richardson.
