  1. if only there were some mechanism by which we could bring in new players to the team...perhaps players who had been playing for another team but who's contract has expired.  Or perhaps there should be a way to bring in new, young players who had previously been playing in college.  If only...

This is one of the greatest things I have seen on these forums.

  2. One thing the D did do well today was shutting down the middle of the field.   NE will probably still try to exploit the middle and run the ball.

Why wouldn't they.  We haven't done anything to prove we can stop them.  Hopefully Freeman and Jackson can this time.

  3. Thank you Peyton.  You made this team what it is today.  Thank you for all the hours I spent in front of my tv agonizing over everything you were doing.  Thanks for the Superbowl.

P.S.  Im sorry your current fans suck.

  4. I haven't noticed that trend either.  However, I have noticed that the Colts tend to win when my cat is mad at me.  Therefore, starting Saturday night and continuing into Sunday evening, I plan to torment my cat relentlessly. That should do it.

If your cat isn't already spade or neutered then I think Saturday is the day to get it done.

  5. Im having a really hard time understanding this whole situation.  He got hurt in the Cincy game.  Since he came back he hasn't really been the same, mainly a lot of dropped passes.  Before last weeks game he was talking like he might retire after this season.  Plays maybe his worst game since he's been in the NFL Sunday.  Afterward Pagano says he tore his triceps in the Cincy game, something that was never reported on the weekly injury report.  Since then he has said that he feels like he could play another year or two.  Can anyone help me out here.

  6. Is being in consistently one of the worse divisions in the league hurting the Colts?  The rest of the division isn't challenging enough so we don't have to rise up and find our full potential.  They are not exploiting our weaknesses so we don't know what needs fixed.  Everyone thought our run D had improved until the Pats came to town and showed us it was still weak.  I realize there are 16 games a season but that's 6 games a year that we only have to play a little bit above average to win.  Just look at the Jacksonville game.

I may be wrong but its something to think about.

  7. I think this next game would be a good game to commit to running.  Give Trent the ball around 25 or 30 times and hopefully let him get some confidence, and hopefully at least 100 yards.  It would also give the Oline a chance to get some confidence in their run blocking.  If none of this happens then you have to think about going in another direction because Jacksonville's run D is not very good.
