I hope we take a look at Cooter and Carmichael.

Who is considered Stanfords biggest rival?
That depends on who you ask lol. It's supposed to be Cal, but over the last few years, it's been USC. Oregon too.

I went to sleep in the 3rd quarter. Did we win? I will check now.
Yep!!

Bryce is a beast. Thought I saw he had almost 100 yards 5 minutes into the game.
He did. It was crazy. He also tweaked his ankle a bit but I think he’ll be alright.
-
Bryce with another Heisman-worthy performance. I bet he finishes 2nd like all the other Stanford greats lol. I wish this kid was getting more attention from the national media. We always play late though.

What team are you watching... our 2 wins came against 2 teams with a combined record of ZERO WINS. How many more of those teams do the Colts have left to play?
I know, but we're still in the race. Houston just lost too. Every team in the South has issues. For all the struggles we've had, we're still only a game back.

It may but we if win our Division games we have a shot now
Definitely. Just need the Jags to start losing and for KC to win tonight. I don't think Andrew is playing against Tennessee which is unfortunate considering how well he does against them.

That Cardinals game
I hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Bottles wasn't good today. The d and running game were
Yep, he had less than 100 yards passing even though Ben threw 5 picks and kept giving their offense the ball. That defense is impressive.

Was hoping the Jags would lose too. But we're definitely still in it.

I'm reminded of that 23-9 game against Houston.

Well this has been a depressing quarter

I do support doing what is necessary to protect players. However, the second targeting call against Stanford seemed unnecessary... Then, the "guilty" players are escorted off the field as if they have been arrested. I don't like that. Let them watch the game with their teammates.
Serious question: Why is the "guilty" player sent to the locker room after being called for "targeting"?
Completely agree. There's no need to take them off the field.

I know. Those targeting calls, especially the second one, seemed bogus. But I have not been paying attention much to the targeting rules. Are these new rules?
Yes, the weekend is going well. My youngest sister had an Octoberfest get together which was fun. I am about to go to sleep soon, now that the game is over.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
The targeting rules have been around for a while. They're probably the most frustrating rules in the CFB but I guess it's their way of protecting the players, which I understand.
Good night!! And you too.

I can exhale now. Stanford recovered the onside kick. Let's see what the refs do here.
Update:
Stanford wins 23-20. @snkdy
That game was so much more stressful than it needed to be Hope you and @PrincetonTiger are having a good weekend!

TY should have gotten a lot more targets than he did last night. Moncrief too.
-
It is frustrating. I remember when the second half was our strength.
-
It's like they all just stopped competing after that last turnover. We still had a whole 4th quarter to play.

I take back anything positive I said about Collingsworth
He's insufferable.

Sadly it is a staple of the Pagano era. Too undisciplined and find ways to beat ourselves.
Right. Turnovers and a few mistakes and the game rapidly spirals out of control. We've seen it too often.
-
Just mistake after mistake. We're not outmatched; we're just shooting ourselves in the foot again.
-
The defense is gassed sadly.

Will Collinsworth just stop talking
Who will be the next HC of the Indianapolis Colts?

Agreed. I would love a great offensive coach for Andrew and a talented DC for our young secondary.
